This is the 3rd year in a row that Tari has had a better net rating than Jabari. Shouldn't the player that impacts winning earn the starting job? I need answers, Ime.

We shot 38/93 as a team.....there were a bunch of folks shooting like dodo. We were fortunate to win this game. I'll tell you something else.....you have a vet who shoots 3/13 and comes down in the last minute up by 5 and fires up a 3 with all kinds of time left on the shot clock. So, trust me, Bari's (2/8 ) is a small part of the overall Rockets problem. The rest of the team is Maggie's Drawers as well.Offensively...we stink...as a team. Extreme overreach on affecting the locker room IMO.Amongst starters Bari played less minutes than all but Amen.

 

Udoka is good at taking out good players when they are playing really good.

 

Ime: Jabari Smith should be starter without any doubt.

 

Don't get fooled by Ime's words and emotionless face.

 

Didn't say that...I said it's ridiculous to say Bari starting is a locker room problem....that's just a joke.

 

I followed Smith at Auburn. He was an almost seven foot, athletic player who could nail the three consistently. I hardly recognize him now. I don't know what is going on, but he is close to playing himself off the court. I thought a few off seasons would fix him, but not so far.

 

What’s going on with Aqua man again?

 

I agree....wish I knew what was going on with him...don't think he even knows right now...and, that's not good.

I believe this is very likely. Just understand Tari's improvement won't be a straight line and there will be ups and downs along the way.

 

Did Jabari still complain he should have drafted with 1st pick?

 

Kpj stans used to downplay the importance of the pg position. But everything that is plaguing our offense, is a byproduct of having fvv as our pg.

 

I’ll take the win, but it was an ugly game. Kind of a tale of two halves. Tari brought us back to life in the 2nd half. We are witnessing the emergence of a star. Amen helped fuel it as well. Sengun looked great. Dillon played well.

Fred still not good enough setting up the offense or making shots. Jalen still overdribbling and shooting poorly. Bari is a legit concern at this point; basically invisible today and the shot actually looks like it’s getting worse. Ime really has to change something up; Bari’s not a starting caliber player right now.

overall, we continue to see no real offensive system and poor shooting. We don’t have the personnel to really take that next step. It’s time to start focusing on building a team that fits. Eking out wins against Detroit is not gonna cut it.

 

Craziest thing is seeing his shot disappear. It’s so flat. Was it like that at Auburn? He plays so much smaller, always seems hunched over. Like the anti-Horry who used to look taller due to his stance.

 

No...beautiful arc on his shot at Auburn.....don't know where this shot came from. Hopefully, he gets it fixed.

 

Man I still cant get over those 2 losses to the Hornets and Spurs in our first 3 games. This was so close to another one of those losses.

Its going to super hard to crack top 10 in the west, west is mighty mighty packed. We not there yet.

Top 10 in the West? We’re a top ten team in the league at the moment. We just beat the Knicks, Mav, and Grizzlies.
