Or maybe the "freedom fighters" will be a remnant of gay Gazans that band together and rise up to legalize gay marriage or, at least, make it not a crime worthy of beatings and a jail sentence. Maybe boys and girls will even be allowed to go to school and play together. Maybe some of them will even be allowed to read books about other religions, science, philosophy, non-Islamic art. Maybe some of them might even become Christians, atheists or gasp... Buddhists. You know, one of those darned Infidels. Maybe they'll even let some Jews in, maybe let them build 1 synagogue for every 10 mosques in Israel. That would be 40 temples, since there are over 400 mosques in Israel, up from 80 in 1988. I imagine these "freedom fighters" would get along swimmingly with the IDF widows, all Israeli women for that matter and, literally, everyone in the world except extremist Islamists who want to force sharia and promote jihad.

Conservative religion is lower on the list of issues a average Palestinian woman faces currently. Right now higher on the list is food security, shelter and the fear of explosive ordinance dropping from the sky and hitting the roof above them. Whenever ri see someone express a desire to change cultural values through bombing campaigns I think "these people just want to genocide and use the excuse of superior cultural values to do it". Israelis aren't helping sophisticate Palestinian culture by leveling the places they live with ordinance. You can't bomb people into changing culture. You can only genocide people and then move your people in and pretend you "changed culture for the better" by simple genocide and resettlement. Understand the hierarchy of needs for a human.
