We'll have to wait -- or those of us who actually care for anything but our favorite horse to beat -- for a full analysis. We can only really go on exit polling, but I found some of these factors interesting from Business Insider, if they are confirmed by a more careful study later: (Again, this is all preliminary.) * youth voting, 18-29, apparently moved 11 points toward Trump in 2024 versus 2020. * Gen X (my generation), moved 8 points toward Trump in 2024 versus 2020. (Jesus, peeps, LOL.) * Latino men swung by 33 points to Trump in 2024 versus 2020. * While urban voters swung harder to Harris than Biden, by a lot, the suburban voters moved into a pro-Trump for by 2 points (where they had been 2 points anti-Trump in 2020). And here's some BBC data, for what it's worth.
The filings showed $881 million spent by Harris' official campaign, with $355 million for Trump's. Outside groups like super PACS took total spending far higher, to $3.5 billion, the most in history. Per the Financial Times, that shook out at $1.9 billion for Harris and $1.6 billion for Trump. ****ing disgusting. facts are difficult TMZ Is Wrong About Donald Trump Jr. and Safari Hunting https://www.forbes.com/sites/frankm...ong-about-donald-trump-jr-and-safari-hunting/
Facts are tough, and a lot of that article relies DT Jr.'s word. Even if there was overpopulation concerns he did kill an endangered elephant.
no, not true As for the legality of the hunt, the Director-General of the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, V. Chadenga, published a letter on March 27 in which he called the charges against the Trump’s “baseless” and said, “Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump hunted legally during their visit to Zimbabwe.” He also noted there was never an “investigation” of the Trump’s hunt and that they hunted with a “registered outfitter” and were accompanied by “game rangers.” this is actually a topic I have worked on--immunocontraception for elephants is a real thing, and elephants are hunted legally in many jurisdictions.
I understand that it may have been legal and perhaps even beneficial in the case. But It doesn't change the fact that African Elephants are endangered does it?
