I'm firmly in the "the President doesn't mean **** to the economy" camp.

I think that Joe really did the most damage by refusing to honor that soft promise to be a one term President.

Had they given Harris more runway and been more honest/forthright with the voters about Biden's condition, perhaps she could have made some more inroads.

That being said, the economy is **** and will remain **** under Trump because we have spent ourselves into a doom loop with no way out. Trump will likely oversee some kind of huge recession with rampant inflation and a bunch of other disasters he has no control over and we'll end up with Mayor Pete as President or some **** next and the cycle of playing 'you lose, I lose" will continue.

    I hear you... But

How much of this issue is real and how much of this is perceived.

Even if a part of this is real, Is it really that big of problem to make an average American to look past Trump transgressions or Do average American not believe Trump is erratic?

Yes 312. Trump will win MI, NV, AK, and AZ, while at the same time increasing his popular vote lead.

I don't really agree. They're not fractured. The far left is subjugated and marginalized. There is no threat to the throne or the DNC power structure.

What the Democrats are is rudderless. They lack a message, identity, or vision. Trump at least has grievance and culture war **** to campaign on. The Democrats stand for nothing other than not being Republicans. That is a losing strategy almost every time except when you have black swan type problems (see 2020).

Anyone who thinks the next 4 years under either candidate will be rainbows and ice cream are fools. Neither are taking us to the glory land.

    Trump was a no brainer:
    Bitcoin
    Musk - DOGE/Tesla/SpaceX/Neuralink
    RFK - health and fitness
    Vivek - TBD
Gabbard - Lets just hope she isn't Palin 2.0

Did I ever imply I thought Trump would do the right thing? I only stated he wasn't a real threat to democracy (because the Republic and constitution, ya know)

I am the biggest Bitcoin bull on this BBS and I do not trust that Trump won't actually be a net negative for the network or concept of fiscal responsibility/sound money re: America.

The speech he gave in Nashville was hot dog **** and totally killed my enthusiasm for a Trump presidency. The man lies as he breathes and cannot be trusted. I think he will do a **** ton of damage by letting crypto bullshitters run wild and tarnish Bitcoin with all their malfeasance.

Also, there are things I like about RFK and Elon, but the problem is the issues they are getting uncomfortably close to are the ones I think they have absolutely no business being involved in.

I needed to see it said by at least one person who supports him. Just once.

She should set up a riot, not concede, not certify the vote as Vice Pres and refuse to leave. That will set her up nicely for a run in 2028.

A rudderless ship implies the lack of leadership. The lack of leadership (in nearly any environment) is almost always accompanied by chaos and incompetence.
When we look back in pivotal moments in history (because I am a 4th turning kinda guy), typically there is a grand struggle between populism and establishments. The right is leaning heavy into the populist side and the left is absolutely leaning into the establishment side.

Did Trump engage in the culture war? I dont recall. Even Musk was very gentle with the transgender stuff

Wildest stat is that Kamala did not do better in a single district than Joe Biden in 2020. Crazy.
