That is his thing, the only elite skill that he got left is that he can successfully get thru to the common people.
Hellz yeah. Bring on the 4 years of complaining about mean tweets. Going to be fun. And I'm liking JD more and more for 2028.
We are fortunate to live during the time of Donald Trump. His accomplishments, influence, and resilience will be remembered for centuries.
Assuming he wins...Trump isn't going to dive deep in the weeds, so it'll depend on how strong Congress is to back his cabinet picks..like those Project 2025 plants. I doubt it'll be American carnage for a good year and a half (tax breaks, honeymoon congress, and unchallenged executive orders to be had!) and his immigration posture will depend on what Congress prioritizes. 2 main things off the top of my head that could make Donny go full tilt and test the constitution: A worsened economy plus a return of un-peaceful protestors. Criminal investigations on the state level that are harder to squash. Otherwise, it's a slow boil kleptostate where the media over reports every outrageous thing he says and does while the public will only pay attention to what they can and can't spend what's in front of them. Only when they can't where there will be hell to be paid.
This Trump win, assuming he is going to win, doesn't sting me nearly when he won in 2016. But as one of the few people who did like Hilary at the time, I do find it a bit hilarious that after her being scapegoated for all these years for being so unlikeable she lost to Trump, 8 years and gazillion more scandals later, another woman is likely going to lose even harder against him.
But I don't even get how he does that? He was an incoherent mess the last few months - just stumbling around in half empty arenas I think it's more people voting for the MAGA Brand than for the husk of a man at this point because it's what their identity is
