I'm in total agreement with you. I have a daughter myself, I want her to be safe. But safety and undocumented immigrants are two separate issues. Bad actors will get in inevitably. Now, if we could make the legal process a lot simpler, that would be fantastic. If we could figure out how we can legalize the people already here in this country, that would also be great. I think a great start would be with the "Dreamers". Here you have a group of individuals that has acculturated (or in many cases assimilated) to the US culture and have gotten their education and are a positive contributor to this country. I think despite which administration has been in charge, we have failed to provide a legal pathway for these individuals. Our politicians have never been able to find a middle ground on this. For this reason, this is why I would not be able to support Trump on this. His solution is to attempt to round up as many individuals as possible and deport them. I realize that some of his campaign talk is strictly exaggerated political talk, but I don't believe he has a solid policy solution on this. Kamala on the other hand does have a better position that I support, however, is she a shrewd negotiator that she could likely get a bipartisan bill revived on this, I don't know, I doubt it. Biden, for all his faults, had good relationships on both sides of the aisle and was able to get some republicans to come to the table and talk, that's something that neither Trump or Kamala possess which is why ultimately we will continue having gridlock in Washington. It's disappointing. I brought up guns as an example to what you are telling us regarding the illegal that killed a citizen. My point is that regardless of some incidents happening (small percentage), we can't lose sight of the overall picture. You support guns and you will not be convinced about limiting AR's despite some of the horrors (Sandy Hook, Uvalde, etc) that have happened in the last 20 years.

i was curios so i scrolled back the last few pages to track how many retweets @AroundTheWorld has made in this thread. this is par for the course with the dude, but its pretty incredible that a non-american who cant even vote in our elections would be so obsessed about our elections...also, the fact that a CEO of a company with hundreds of employees, has a family with children, travels the world and hobnobs at davos with world leaders has enough free time to repost tweets on here. if he is spending this much time on here he is spending an equal amount of time on twitter. these are all the retweets he has posted in this thread in just the last 12 hours! Bottom line is it looks like the abortionists would rather have the world on fire, open borders, inflation, higher gas prices, food prices and a vote for Harris is a vote for China/Iran/Russia. All of this because states are now allowed to decide the rules when it comes to abortion in their state. Heck, Trump really isn't even against abortion and certainly Melania isn't against it.
