ClutchFans Game Thread: Knicks @ Rockets 11/4/2024

This has not helped....we have had several that did everything but go in. Also, I don't think the Knicks are beating us playing inside but, they are killing us from 3.

 

Yeah, they were dumb kid mistakes. Those homerun passes work when you turn around and hurl it. He hesitated waited debated and then threw it - both times. They were fine ideas poorly executed, poor decision. Young players make stupid TO. He'll be fine. I can deal with dumb stuff from the youngs, but dumb strategy on very simple stuff from the coaching staff is unacceptable.

 

Hey all. Haven’t been able to watch yet this year but am tuning in now. Just curious, is Cam playing worse this year and not getting the minutes or is our roster that deep, other guys are getting priority over him?

 

Is it his ankle or his back?

He looks fine out there. Physically he seems aye ok.

Just some boneheaded plays. 2 hail mary int's and the stupid and-1 foul at the end of half.

 

Not bad. We had some turnovers, but I like the turnovers we had. Aggressive assist opportunities for the most part.

Better job by Fred tonight. He needs to stay aggressive to keep the defense honest.

 

He seems fine laterally, but I've thought he seemed a little—well, even less explosive than he usually is, at the rim.

It's the same damn thing with this team, every game. Crappy shooting and a stagnant offense that is bogged down by said shooting. The had a 15 point lead then has 2 embarrassing offensive possesions where they did literally nothing until the clock was at 10.

Energy and chaos ball is not the foundation of a title contender, it's just not.

Sheppard hasnt done a ton, but he has by far the most gravity on the team, it's not even close. Defenders do not leave him, he needs to play more than 5 courtesy minutes.

 

He needs to try them to learn to execute them. He knows it is the right thing to do but he wasn't comfortable executing them and turned them over. The foul was bad though.

 

Annunoby and Bridges killing us from 3.

 

He was plenty aggressive in the other games - just missed the shots. Kept shooting and shooting and shooting. I could do without his long 2s. Take a look at his numbers, he's never made them at a high enough rate throughout his career.

 

Instead of people have so much critical on Sengun, why not talk about Ben Sullivan? Isn't he the greatest shooting coach? We get open looks all night and only made 23.5% of threes. This is not the first game we are making 20ish percentage of threes.

 

16 pt lead wasn't going to last anyway. Get back to it and get a 20pt lead.

 

Which one because he ruined two fast break opportunities with his outlet passes

Also sengun has the best +/-. he can't be that bad.

 

This is Sengun's game. If they're going to put forwards on him in the post just run it until Thibodeux has an aneurysm
