You are the biggest fan only on the board and a very immature adult or very low IQ person. You make me want the Rockets to trade Jalen, just so you would go away. Is he an only fan? I'd actually categorise him as a Sengun Only Hater more than any supporter of any real player on the team. All I ever see is hate for Sengun, never any particular homerism for Jalen or anybody. As one of the big Jalen homers (though not an only fan at all, I have more Alpi jerseys than Jalen ones and an Amen jersey) it's always me, Verbal Christ and fchowd I see in the pro-Jalen camp. This dude just seems more anti-Sengun lol.
IDK seems really weird that he came out as a Stone fan .....somehow Stone is on decent terms with Alperen. As a result he should have had a softer stance on Sengün.

I took a unpopular position and ended up RIGHT per usual. Even my threads like 'Give Stone his credit' are 100% on point
He certainly is inconsistent. I was talking about when he plays someone straight up on the post or when someone drives on him one on one.
I also don’t typically use that term for players if they’re committed to their craft, striving to get better, and putting in an effort of what is asked of them. I have used that term in the past for KPJ and Wood since those two had serious character and professionalism issues while playing selfishly on the court and putting in low effort. Sengun doesn’t meet the standard for what a 5 should do on defense. He isn’t “good” and I explained what that means in the past few posts and my old posts. But he’s trying and has shown some improvement since year 1. There’s some physical limitations there as well. It’s interesting how this will all pan out in terms of where his defense is in the next couple years.
I didn't say Sengun isn't bad at defense. I'm saying the coaching is also responsible. So many possessions we needed a stop down the stretch and we didn't. And you know who Warriors picked on in overtime.

I know a lot of yall don't like stats but I don't understand how the team can be so successful defensively with Sengun on the court if he's so bad at defense? It's a fact that our defense is very good while he's on the court, and it was last year too. Is that really possible if he's so bad at defense? If he really gives up all these easy buckets, and does nothing to make up for it, wouldn't our defense be bad? This is a sincere question by the way, I'm not asking it just to prove a point. If you have an explanation, please post it. I'd like to know the answer.

So, explain to us mortals why the Rockets, so far and even last year, were among the better defensive teams in the league. The center position, of course, is the main anchor to a defense and the defenses mostly live and die with the anchor. If Alpi is so bad, is there any rational explanation for the Rockets' above average defense?
I noticed in the videos that there were 5 Rockets defenders and they all had their responsibilities in the team defense. I noticed that the perimeter defenders were also responsible, several times for why the opponents scored. Sengun was not the only defender against the opponents particularly on the fast break clip. The bias against Alpi by these chronic anti-Sengun posters is bordering on pathological.
