Son, I;ve been watching football since Paul Brown was the Bengals HC. Walsh was an assistant coach. I dont mean to sound like the old man in the room, but I dont take kindly to being talked down too. Where do you think Walsh learned the WCO principals? I'l tell you, when he was coaching Greg Cook and Ken Anderson. That offense had Issac Curtis/Charlie Joiner/Chip Meyers and Bob Trumpy/Paul Robinson. No I didn't have to google that. Now did Walsh make improvements once he became a HC? Yes he did, just like Shanny made improvements on the Walsh offense. I can see we aren't going to be able to have a civil discussion. So you're right and dont respond to me ever again.

And hopefully add a WR that can separate.

He's got Kelce/Gray/Hopkins/Worthy/Hardman/JuJu, Much better than the Texans have. 2 guys with world class speed that stretch the field, DC's fear this. 2 guys that do most of their work between the hashes, although Hopkins can get deep and win contested catches. Compare this to the Texans WR corps without Collins. BTW, the Chiefs are missing their best field stretcher in Hollywood Brown.

Wish I could like this more than once and I'm a Caserio fan. I would give up a 2nd for Cesar Ruiz because he would be my choice for the long term answer at Center, then move Scruggs to LG and I will bet you the OL will look better not just in the short term. Add in a speed guy like Slayton and you would have a much different looking offense.

That's been the rock of the Chiefs offense, giving Mahomes time to see the field and it allows the Chiefs to get away with below avg OT's.

I believe Trey Smith is an UDFA next offseason.

Just a UFA... but he is going to get PIZ-ZAID

My $$$ is on Commanders.... they got a war chest, rookie QB contract, and need to protect Daniels.

    I am guessing $20M AAV

Jayden Daniels is now the rookie QB darling and they are better record-wise than the texans were at this time last year. It doesn't help that CJ has had a down year. Remember when CJ was the media darling/next big thing, well he's got to turn things around this season or everyone will have fully moved on to Daniels.

You are not gonna convince me that the chiefs have better wide receivers than the Texans.. no one thinks that. Gray?? Cmon. He’s got Kelce and a semi-washed Dhop. Juju? Hardman is fast but if he was good then he’d be closer to Tyreek. Texans had Diggs/Dell/Schultz.. mixon is a better back than hunt.

This is all besides the point. Chiefs know how to call plays and scheme players open. They make it work with anyone.

49ers run game didn’t miss a beat going from CMc to Jordan effing Mason. No I’m not saying Jordan Mason is the same as CMC, but the drop from cmc to mason was minuscule compared to our drop from mixon to Akers/Pierce.

Bobby doesn’t run no rub/ crossing / routes that can be flagged but if executed ends up in huge gains - his play design is timid ….

NE and GB would run back shoulder / run routes 3-5x a game and get flagged maybe once

Who do the Texans have other than Tank/Nico that scares DC's?

And who does the Chiefs have that scares DC besides old man Kelce? Sure wasn't Hopkins before, Gray, Hardman, or JuJu...maybe Worthy but he hasn't done sht. Hell, their best reciever has been out and they're still clicking. They pick up RBs from the streets and now they seem to be all pro again.

Schultz should be a lot more involve than what's he's been, same with Xavier and Metchie. Let's not forget, we had all of Nico, Tank, and Diggs earlier in the season and the offense wasn't all that much better.

Hardman and Worthy have the speed to stretch defenses and open up the middle for Kelce. The Chiefs offense was missing this last year. It's why they brought Hardman back.

Agreed with the last paragraph, a bad ol will make any offense look bad. But they were putting up over 20 points per game

They also have one HELLUVA OC that knows how to adjust..

Watch how the Chiefs will change depending on the circumstances.. From run heavy to pass heavy.. From long ball to short ball..

This is what Bobby needs to understand, there is nothing wrong with having a game plan, but you will have to adjust it depending on what the defense is doing..

First off... not your son... Glad we go that out the way...

Second, no one is trying to disrespect you.. im not some youngster...

Third, Paul Brown took the forward pass tot he next step; but it was Walsh who came up with and and developed the west coast offense out of necessity for the starting qb.. Actually Paul Brown was jealous of Walsh...

Paul Brown was very creative and did a lot to help the nfl.. But the father of the wco is Walsh and not brown...

Ok we are definitely getting off track.. But Paul Brown sabotaged Walsh name around the league.. he black balled him to a point where almost didn't get another coaching job....

Growing up I always wondered why Walsh didn't get the HC with Cincinnati and how did he end up with the 49ers....

    Brown was screwing Walsh,
    • first he promised Walsh that he would be the HC once Paul retired
    • There were other teams that wanted to hire Walsh, he was a very smart and innovative OC and rumors at that time had it that PB would never let those letters get to Walsh...
    • When PB retired he went back on his promise and gave the HC to the DC...
    • Even after Walsh left.. PB was quietly was basically bad mouthing Walsh around the league....
A lot of this was quietly known.. but you can google it......

fyi... If you felt as if i dis-respected you.. Didn't mean that all.. but I love a great discussion..
