You saw what our recipe is tonight, athletic wing defenders with just enough offense.

The FO and Ime will not hesitate to float a Sengun package for Giannis when he inevitably becomes available

It's extremely early, but the Bucks are 1-4 right now with Giannis. We were a few possessions from being 4-1, let's let this team develop and not get impatient.

If we hit 50+ wins with a core of 22 year olds we can compete for a decade.

Bucks fired Adrian Griffin with a 30-13 record, and have gone 19-23 under Doc

Idk why Giannis doesn’t get any heat from the media…he wanted Bud fired, wanted Griffin then decided he didn’t want him halfway through the season, and now they’ve got Doc…they even have his useless brother on the team

I think it's because he's one of the blandest personalities around. Boring family man who takes care of his wife and kids, doesn't say anything particularly controversial or interesting, looks after his brother's career and has shown a lot of loyalty to a boring team in a boring city with the absolute most sedate, boring, uninteresting broadcast media in the history of sports on any continent. You don't generate headlines with guys like that outside of when they win championships or awards, nobody gives a ****. He's nice guy, outside of that? YAWN

I get that perspective…it’s just annoying how the media picks and chooses which all-time greats they want to attack and/or hold accountable

It's always gonna be that way, media isn't fair, honest or fact focused, it's controversy focused. AI, Harden, Lebron - these types of guys are always going to generate more clicks than Duncan, Dirk and Giannis.

Sengun, Bari plus plenty of picks for Giannis would make us a serious contender this year. Certainly next year, we need a Robin next to Jalen.

Next Offseason. This is the max offer Houston should be willing to go with

    Sengun
    Jabari
    Whitmore
    '25 1RP (HOU)
'27 1RP (Best of PHX/HOU) - can't trade both because of Steipen rule
    '29 1RP
    '31 1RP

    for

    Giannis

Sign Brook Lopez in Free Agency

    2026 Rotation:
FVV (decline PO, resign for significant discount with some term)
    Jalen
    Amen/Tari
    Giannis
    Lopez

    Amen/Tari
    Brooks
    Sheppard

Still have 2027, 2028 and 2030 1RPs. Both teams say yes to the above offer. Your closing lineup is probably Jalen/Tari/Amen/Giannis and 1 of FVV/Lopez depending on the matchup

Trading Sengun for Giannis defeats the purpose of the trade. The goal is to combined a star with Sengun and Jalen.we’re already over the cap so getting rid of Sengun doesnt help our championship aspirations when Gianni’s only has 2-3 years of elite play. You’re going to give up Sengun Amen and Tari. This has been already talk about in Milwaukee(I lived there for about a decade) and one thing to point out s they don’t care about the draft picks. They want players. They’ll take the draft picks in the package but their priority is player and they want proven players. Look at Milwaukee trades over the year and they always send on draft pick because they don’t really value draft assets. They prefer players that’s been their MO for along time. I don’t even think they would care reed or cam. They would definitely want amen and Tari. They wanted Tari the year he was drafted. it was even a rumor of sign and trade for Ari when we were pursuing Brook Lopez last summer.

We’d be better but I don’t think a squad of Gianni’s Jabari Dillon Jalen and Fred make us the best team or even top 3 contender.

Sengun will definitely be gone in a Giannis trade

he doesn’t even finish games for us half the time and he would only be in Giannis’s way when he does those unwatchable drives to the rim

Why do you hate Sengun so much?

His reasoning is nonsense but sengun and giannis cannot play together, it's a horrendous fit. I'm not in support of trading for giannis but if you do, you use sengun as the centerpiece and not a ton of draft capitol. The draft capitol would then be used to trade for another star.

It’s just not a good trade for us if we have to trade one of our two best players. Reminds me of the Barkley trade. And I look back at that trade more and more with resent.

I’d rather throw Sengun Giannis and Jalen at the fence than something else.

I still hold out hope that Sengun can return to last season form. It’s no need to sell low

They can have Amen and Sengun no problem, what good would either of those players be around Giannis? Picks not a problem either.

But after that, it's not like you can trade everything not glued to the floor for a 30 year old superstar and sit there with him and bench players expecting it to work out.

Sengun (34 million), Thompson (10 million), and one filler like Landale (8 million) or Holiday (4 million) would be enough salary wise. Could offer 4 first, and probably 3 swaps that would be interesting.

    Van-Vleet / Sheppard
    Green / Whitmore
    Brooks
    Eason / Smith
    Giannis / Adams

We'll have a MLE to work with, but outside of that it's not like you could afford to strip that team of too many more players and expect a contender. Maybe one of Whitmore or Smith, but thinking both AND Eason leaves us broke.

I can see Ime sitting on a toilet taking a #2 looking at Giannis trade possibilities... his first thought, "Get Sengun the F outta here."
