After removing Cabbage the current 40 man roster is at 41 including injured players.

Leon still hasn't had a fair shot. 7 games and 21 PA spread across 16 days?

I would let Leon, Chas, and Meyers battle it out in spring training for 2 roster spots. Option Leon if he loses, trade the loser if it's Chas or Jake .

 

I think Leon pissed in somebodies Post Toasties. He has some trade value but likely no future here.

 

Penn Murfee claimed by the White Sox.

 

Sorry to hear that. I think he has a nice season in 25.

 

Weird to hold onto Murfee through all that rehab time and then let him go after one minor league appearance. His stuff must have looked reprehensible in that outing, but he's never been a stuff pitcher to begin with.

Ha!!! What’s so stupid is that as a little kid whose grandparents and mom kept talking about our Mc name and what it meant that they kept it, somehow that made me choose Lucky Charms as my cereal…and my first day of classes at Baylor…I remember distinctly going into the cafeteria and eating Lucky Charms before my first class.

In maybe related news, my wife, before I had ever met her, sat directly across from me in that first class. Holy crap that cereal ****ing worked!!!!!

 

I think it is pretty clear that you owe Lucky Charms a tremendous debt of gratitude sir. Not many know people know this.

 

Very few…and what’s funny is, I just remembered it as I was writing about Lucky Charms. I don’t think my wife and kids even know that lol…but they’re gonna sit the **** down and hear about it tonight because I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!!!!

Urquidy was a no brainer to be gone after Brown made his comments about being creative with payroll.

Martinez was a great find for Houston and saved their bacon a few times by eating innings. This bodes well for what Houston thinks of their other out of options arms (Dubin, Whitley, Sousa).
