I definitely know what Nico brings. In the end, I just don't trust Slowik so far this season. He'll most likely have CJ break out and have Mixon do a quick screen pass to CJ. Is Nico even officially out of IR yet?
I get it trust me I do. I also know what the offense looked like with Nico being a constant threat. Last I heard he was on track for return as he was placed on IR and had to sit out a mandatory 4 games. Not sure I've heard he has had any setbacks.
Lions are coming off of a big win and are on a streak. We know that they won't go 16-1 on the season, so it's possible that they have a down game against us. On the road, they could be overlooking us. I'd much rather face the Lions after they just won, as opposed to after they just had a loss. The same thing applies to us, we in theory should get a boost because we just embarrassed ourselves on Thursday. We'll see.
WE could be their trap game.....................oh dear LORD, please make it so. The last thing this team and fans need is to be skull drug by the Lions at home by who IMO are one of the top 3 teams and were not anywhere near that plateau yet.
Agreed, it will be our biggest game this season, lets see where we stand.................I am nervous Nico will be ready to go, Ryans did the usual sidestep when asked about Nico and WAJ yesterday, but I guess we will see when they practice tomorrow. This game will come down to Slowik calling the PERFECT game...........................let's see what ya got Bobby And where the F is Christian Harris
probably should've happened after that schlacking by the Vikings lol, but better late than never. Maybe it'll light a damn fire under them.
Honestly, I don't recall a player only team meeting ever being a good thing. I could be wrong, just seems like anytime you hear about that the wheels are falling off.
It's definitely when sh*t has hit the fan, but a part of me is glad they're at least acknowledging their poor play. Whatever it takes. Maybe CJ will go Tom Brady on the o line lol
They know everyone expects a shalacking of epic proportions on prime time. Doubt it helps tbh. The violation the Lions are about to give is inevitable.
