And as just stated Trump wants to increase spending. Don’t think his deportation plan will be free? Also he’s said he won’t cut entitlements. Besides his rhetoric there is nothing in his previous record that indicates he will reduce the debt. Not at the moment but the USSC seems willing to change that. Bute even if you belive that there is nothing in Trump’s policies that will actually cut the deficit.
Why would he have to flee the US? Every country on this planet would love to have Musk. Then again, if there is an administration who could fumble this play, it would be the Harris administration. When we look back in history, if the Germans didn't let the lunatics run their country, they would potentially be one of the most powerful countries. Instead, they ostracized some of their best and brightest who eventually fled the country (or were killed) and went on and helped the US. That said, I would agree. Musk is getting way too much influence. Back at the beginning of Covid, I warned Musk was going to get very political and could lead to some bad outcomes. I didn't predict Musk would have a front row seat to the president, at least this early. xAI and neuralink will be more influential than Tesla. Musk is not in charge of NASA. There is plenty of SATCOM infrastructure owned by other entities. They are just more expensive
Whatever.... If Putin and Elon are coordinating in ways that is illegal I don't see why it would be controversial that it could have legal ramifications. As of now we are still apparently a nation of laws although I know it doesn't always apply equally for those who have the ability to pay for lawyers to drag things out in court, buy off politicians, and buy off Supreme Court justices.
Haven't really delved into it but the right wing super-online weirdos (JD, Elon musk, Bill Ackman) are now going nuts about an AI squirrel on some guy's solo onlyfans page. @tinman @AroundTheWorld need an explainer (that I won't read)
The idea that "conservatives" haven't changed at all and are exactly the same as they were 16 years ago is beyond ridiculous.
If Harris wins, I fully expect the maga gop to unearth everything they can find to show fraud, the roadwork has been laid, will some states send in fake electors. I do expect there to be some violence from these extremists like the proud boys, or some extreme group but I think that will be shut down quickly as law enforcement will be johnny on the spot and should expect this It will be a great time for the gop moderates to take back the gop and bring some order back to the law-and-order group. Most can do so and not lose face, simply saying we need to move on, trump can't run again, and the fanatics will slowly fall back into the dark corner of the party. If Harris does win, I want to say thank you to maga, we could not have done this without you. If you had just run Haley, you would have had this in the bag months ago..........................it will be like Karmala shining down on the face of a grateful nation
Amen, brother. In fact, I'm the complete opposite of that cartoon. Imagine someone to the very slight right of center, and as both sides expand out rapidly, they are pushed to the slight left with a bunch of questions marks above them because they don't really fit anywhere and the right, as it once was, is now considered liberal territory.
I didn't leave the Democrats - the Democrats left me, when they built a hurricane machine in conjunction with China. -Once Dem, now MAGA
Harris Saturday was in North Carolina for a rally/event where she gave a speech and then hours later was on SNL.. she then left for an event in Pennsylvania after the SNL spot. Harris was in Michigan Sunday morning and gave two speeches and was at two events in the state. Look - both Harris and Trump have campaigned very hard and made lots of appearances and used their time wisely. The social media against both candidates when it comes to time management isn't fair.
What a braindead moron you are. Why would it be some random citizens responsibility to shelter migrants
This must be in some other country. John McCain was the conservative candidate in 2008 and two of his biggest policy positions he's known for was (1) trying to normalize economic immigration with a combination of border security and legal avenues of entry and (2) knocking down tariffs and promoting free trade. That's the same as Trump's position?
