He didn’t throw it to the flats for a first down cuz he thought Christian Harris was gonna jump it for a pick six.
Texans are still 2 games up with the H2H on Colts. Let's hope they lose 3 in a row (Bills, Jets, Lions) which will leave the Colts with 8 losses. Texans would have to have a major collapse in order to lose the division. Basically we would need to go 8-9 to not make the playoffs
Texans and Colts both led 7-0 at halftime, then lost 21-13, on the road. Haunted Halloween spirit activity
The Lions are the real deal, I am a tad nervous for next Sunday.........................that weather sucked
Every team can be beaten, but it depends on the odds of that happening. Lions will have to play one if their worst games this weekend and the Texans will need the OL to hold and Slowik to be able to adjust. I just don't trust in the OL and Slowik to do anything. Pray for the defense to ball out like crazy and this is a grind it out type of game.
Too many dudes are already throwing up white flags. Season is barely halfway over. Yes we all know LG is a problem. Im sure they know it too, but all of us seem to forget that the only guy in the WR room to create separation early and often is Nico. Everyone else is barely above JAG right now in that room. Once CJ can uncork and keep defenses honest everything will look much better. Nico is currently the best WR in the NFL. That was a huge loss. Im excited to get him back.
This. Win Sunday and they keep themselves in the #2 seed conversation. After Sunday they have 4 straight games that are winnable.
Packers beat themselves. Pick 6, 10 penalties, 6 drops, 3 bad snaps because of backup center. The D gave up only 17 to a Lions team that was blowing teams out. You have to win that game. The Lions are indeed beatable. Texans have a chance. Now flame me. lol.
I agree on Nico coming back for sure, definitely excited about that. But I feel having Nico back isn't going to magically fix the OL to allow CJ time to uncork. It'll definitely help CJ have someone who can make adjustments and catch the ball though. I just think the offense issues runs deeper than just missing Nico. I'm far from throwing up white flag on the Texans' season and I think they'll get better. I'm just waiting for that game to see Slowik do something to the offense to make it click and run like a well oiled machine.
Of course it will. Nico is the only guy who can beat his man within the first 3 steps of a drop back. CJ and Nico have ELITE rhythm passing between the two. Best way to account for a porous line and overeager defense is to kill them with quick passing, screens and perfectly timed runs. Nico helps 2 of those areas. You can spam a healthy Nico and Joe right into the playoffs. If we can get the defense healthy and in sync we're right back on track. Lot of season left. Lets remember what we are missing: edit: NM NFL blocked posting clip -- just go over to youtube and remind yourself what Nico can do and I bet you'll feel better.
