We would be closer with a better coach. TO be honest I didnt think I would be out on Ime this quick. But im judging him just like I judged silas. I judge him on the things he's responsible for. Everyone has to agree that his offense is ****.

I think benching is often motivation. Creates a bottom line culture that prioritizes winning. If you’re not getting it done, don’t worry someone else will. The culture needs to be greater than any player imo.

So you would've benched Curry, then? Or am I misunderstanding what you're saying?

If the benching is applied based on merit and without favouritism, yes.

Just as Udoka needs to take his responsibilites if his plans fail.....he is the head of the hydra.

Players are getting benched, traded and coaches are mostly sacked. That is the NBA cycle.

Hope it does not come to that this year but that should be made clear from the moment he signed up.

Agreed, he's completely clueless on offense. My hope has been that he can be our mark jackson (just a less moronic version), basically the coach before the coach

No, I'm not but you can only hire so many coaches. So, do you hire a coach to fit Sengun? And if so, do you trade players to fit Sengun?

I've always said, Sengun is very good offensively around the bucket, however he doesn't spread the court and he is not as good on the defensive end.

He would have thrived in the 80's and 90's, when playing through centers were the norm but this is the 2020's and there only 2 centers in the league worth building around; Embiid and Jokic. All other teams are building around wing players. More importantly, teams now are playing for 3's, as GS did last night vs playing for 2's, as the Rockets were in the first half.

MJ got benched. They won a finals game against Portland that way.

You hire a coach that can run a component offense and isnt biased.

I just want to point out I think you can design an offense that utilizes Senguns strengths without "building around him". You don't need to trade any players, either. All you need is some offensive creativity and off ball movement. You're acting like the only way to maximize him is to build around him (like Embiid or Jokic) and I don't think you need to do that.

I would really like to see Ime just guide us through a film session and point out what it was that Alpi supposedly did so badly that he would get 20 minutes while Fred gets twice as many.

I look at Wemby as more of a PF, similar to Ralph Sampson type, next to Hakeem. He can play center but the way he plays; shoot the 3ptr, weak side shot blocker, etc. He doesn't want to bang much down low.

Only thing I'm saying is, if both Silas and Ime has problems with his fit, is the problem them or is it Sengun?

Silas was an Offensive Coach and Ime is a Defensive Coach. So, what else is there?

Interesting. I think everybody wants to get to the brunt of the problem but I'm sure Sengun and Ime talked. However, I heard Sengun pulled a CHRISTIAN WOOD and left the bench early, before the game ended.
