Education should be the province of local education boards. The federal government has no business involving themselves in education. You can tell be the fact that education is not one of the enumerated powers granted in the US Constitution. I was referencing the bet I proposed to @Sweet Lou 4 2 in the post you quoted. As I said, if you want to challenge my stance and actually believe that a Trump presidency will end up with the elimination of the interstate highway system and education in America and/or result in the deportation of millions of citizens of the United States of America, you are welcome to do so. I am happy to accept anyone's bet (even though I don't expect anyone to pay out if they lose). I hope Trump, if elected, eliminates the department of education and the EPA. The federal government has not business in either field.

No. I think what you suggested is not the same thing as what they said. Deporting millions of illegal immigrants is not the same thing as deporting millions of American citizens. Getting rid of the Department of Education doesn't end education in America. Cutting funding for highways doesn't eliminate the interstate highway system. You made a very dumb prediction, you got called out on it, and you (correctly) are not standing behind it. You just don't want to admit it, so you pretend it is about not making bets with people on the Internet.

Trump said that if citizens get caught up in the mass deportations, that's ok - that is expected to happen. So yeah, citizens will be deported. And you bet it will be a large number. They don't care. They will round up any body and kick them out. Ending the Dept of Education is ending federal education - obviously that is what I am talking about. You can't be so obtuse as to think I meant to say he was banning education or that he would bulldoze highways???? You're arguing a strawman.
