Honestly the players didn't play great but Ime is not helping at all. Stone should make Udoka bring in an offensive coordinator or lead offensive assistant. It's the best thing for Udoka's development and the team's playoff hopes. Such an easy fix, they should have hired someone in the summer.

I wonder who's available. We may have to poach an already employed coach.

Clutch loves Senguini and can't wait to share good news about him. There is a reason he is the #1 fan.

The game, not the box score.
Alpy got hooked when he made a horrid slow motion move and turned the ball over. Rightly so.
The guys on the court got us back in the game.
    Alpy sat.
    Rightly so.

Here's another stat: last year ge played 32.5mpg. This year 28s range and not closing games.

Alpy knows he can be better, I'm asking you to believe in him too!! Don't settle for poor decision making and a mediocre Alpy, root for him to be the best he can be!

    Defense exists

we came back when we had a bulldog lineup.

Al p was getting manhandled by Kevon looney and every player that isolated onto sengun.

I don’t fault ime for benching sengun - he just should’ve benched green as well.

Ime will figure it out, he always does. Just takes way too long. It's about to be the 3rd season in a row his team underperforms offensively early in the season.

The solution always ends up being: he pushes the players to the brink of proving their dedication to hard work, the exhausted team has a dip in energy/wins before the break, Ime realizes they are actually trying their best, then he designs things more tailored to his players, then the offense picks up. It's a pattern with him. We'll be fine eventually. Just hope it doesn't take so long that it damages our playoff hopes.

Ime will figure it out as he always does. Like he made himself fired from a championship team. I trust him fully as well.

Only Reason Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks stayed in the Game even being terrible, pump up those stats and be trade bait.

    Trade Deadline
Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, Jabari Smith, Jock Landale, JaeSean Tate.

At this point I'm positive Udoka tried to have relations with a Rockets staffer, but she declined his advances because Sengun was already giving her the business and she wanted no part of Coach.

He has been absolutely putrid this season.

He already has a couple of Ls solely on his shoulders.

Didnt Ime say everyone came back in really good shape during training camp? Didnt they send Coaches to Turkey with him? Weren't there tweets, pictures and articles from people talking about how good of shape alpi was in because he really worked on his conditioning and body?

Now hes not in good enough shape?

Come on Ime...not like this man.

with this guy it’s solely about the presentation. the constant scowling attitude head up high buoyed by a collection of equally inept yes-men assistants. there is no system no gameplan no plays no accountability, just bullshit after every loss

Dude spends many of his nights at Men’s Club on Sage instead of actually being a good coach.

I wouldn’t have put Alpi back in during the 4th, but when Green fouled out and Looney came back in (Anderson replaced Green, and Kerr decided to go big in OT with both him and Looney while Udoka continued to play small ball), I would have put Alpi back in. The Warriors scored in the paint, clogged up the lane, and neutralized Amen’s inside game, while the Rockets couldn’t hit their 3s. That was the ball game in OT. Kerr made the better game adjustment in OT.

I disagree with Udoka's press conference comments. The Rockets' issue wasn't the big (Alpi) who couldn't make the pocket passes. The problem was that no one on the wing was reliable. You can't run that offensive set and have inconsistent, almost non-shooters on the court (FVV, Jalen, Jabari, and Brooks).

You can hate the Warriors, but Kerr had a brilliant game plan, blitzed at the point of attack, and made them pass the ball to guys who couldn't create or space the floor. With a team of vets, the Warriors were running free with a 20-point lead after a few boards and fast breaks.

Subbing out Alpi seemed to throw the Warriors off balance and out of the Looney + Draymond lineups. But keeping Alpi out of the game when Tari was gassed seemed like punishment. That seemed even more true when he returned to Jalen, which made the Warriors sigh a relief. They knew exactly how to string together baskets when FVV and Jalen were in the backcourt.

It seems like Alpi is gutting it out and playing a little dinged up. He doesn't have his usual lift, and his baseline spin is missing for some reason (likely because he doesn't have the confidence to finish close to the basket). He did have his first dunk in forever in the third quarter. He was then subbed out, never to return. Weird.

Kerr's a SIGNIFICANTLY better coach than Ime. Even though I hate to admit that because **** Golden State and everybody in their organization.

People keep hammering Udoka's staff, but I watched the Olympics. Royal Ivey is a great coach who pulled South Sudanese players from all over the world into a cohesive, fierce team. They ran great sets and maximized their athleticism.

The head coach must listen to and implement ideas from assistant coaches. Udoka needs to take a long look in the mirror and make some changes, starting with himself.

I thought Udoka should have countered with another point guard when they blitzed constantly. I think they finally did that at the start of the 4th (with Sheppard and Holiday).

On a side note, Holiday deserves more playing time. He has always produced and isn’t bad defensively.
