It's not about speeding. It's about common courtesy. Just like you stand to the right (or left) on an escalator and not in the middle. Passing on the right is more dangerous as you can looking over your passenger side. Law says you shouldn't go over the speed limit in either lane. Law also says you shouldn't speed up to pass a car. But try that in the real world and see how it works out. Stop being a douche and move the fk over.
I may have mentioned this before, but ... when you're passing a big rig with a wide load and they have the sign that reads "oversize load" on the back. It just seems like it should be "oversized load", and that annoys me... but maybe it's just me, and maybe I'm wrong.
Seems wrong to me too, but the correct term actually is “oversize load.” This is the term commonly used on signs and in transportation to indicate a load that exceeds standard size limits. The adjective “oversize” is typically used in this context to convey that the load is larger than normal specifications.
Whoever decided that the world needed both "mild" AND "medium" salsa and that grocery stores should rarely stock the "hot" variant had no taste buds. No need for 2 borderline flavorless heat levels in salsa! Mild... pfft... may as well be drinking tomato water. Had to get that off my chest.
I used to agree but now the HEB Hot tastes great but screws my stomach up. I had to switch to the Medium which still packs a decent punch spice-wise.
Depends on the brand. Some mediums are hotter than other hots. Some hots are frankly too damn hot for eating with chips unless you're in the mood for 4 chips or are one of those weirdos who dips just a corner of the chip But yes, I think we can all agree that mild salsa is worthless.
This is actually true. There are some mediums that are almost "just right" (but I'd still buy the hot anyway). Are you talking about their fresh salsa or the jar kind? I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of their jarred variety, though I recall it tasting ok. I haven't had it in a while. I do remember their jar's hot varying in heat levels - like the jalapeno heat level varies in them each time I purchased the hot variety.
Yeah, the jalapenos in there vary, too, but every time I've tried it, it's been sorta hot or perfect hot. Usually it's pretty good salsa, though.
On the topic of salsa... When you order chips and salsa from a restaurant and the salsa they bring out is just liquid. Mild, medium, hot...it doesn't really matter to me as long as it's CHUNKY.
