    He did not say that.

It's obvious to anyone with a tiny bit of common sense what he said - he said she is a war hawk and that it's easy to send other people to war, but how would she feel if the rifles were pointed at her directly.

Any other interpretation makes zero sense.

Got back from doing a GOTV in western, WI. Went pretty well. Was in St Croix County whose largest city is Hudson which is suburb of the Twin Cities but most of it is rural.

Based on signs it looks pretty even and this county has gone both blue and red in previous elections. The Democratic operation though is very sophisticated and well funded. Also as the county closest to the Twin Cities had a lot of volunteers out from Minneapolis St Paul. Went by the Republican headquarters for the county and it did not look as large or active as the Democratic one.

I have nothing against Corrola. And have fond childhood memories of Hogan and his character is awesome and hilarious.

Kid Rock though I have said (and waaaaaaay before he was ever politically inclined) the worst live show I have ever been to (or at least tied with Cake they were awful too) but kid rock was the worst live. And I have been to a LOT of live shows in my life of all kinds of genres of music. Been to probably 50+ music festivals. Anyways kid rock sucks bad.

Thanks for sharing and thanks (on behalf of my political inclinations) for the extra efforts.

A friend of mine was canvasing in Georgia and noted a few things:
    • Nobody but nobody is undecided. The only decisions people are making are whether or not to vote. (That's what GOTV is worthwhile.)
    • People ranged from deranged and rude to very kind and patient, and it did not divide along any party lines, as far as he could tell. All of them are sick of being in a swing state, and I do pity people in those states.
    • Several men who came to the door would say "oh, my wife doesn't vote" if he asked to talk to both people in a couple. Then a few women who did come to the door after that would, if the mens walked away, whisper to my friend that they were voting for Kamala but they couldn't say that in their community.
I advised him not to read much into this. The men might just be trying to protect their spouses from annoying canvassers, and then women are more likely to pity someone at the door and tell someone what they want to hear (IMHO). My buddy is a handsome latino, so... no telling what was going on in these doorways, LOL.

Still laughing at "tied with Cake." So many people have told me, if I've said I like some Cake song: "oh, I guess you never saw them live." Damn LOL.

My experience was different as no one was outrightly rude but that could be upper Midwest nice. Also we were given addresses that had already been noted to be at least democratic leaning. There are a lot of mixed households and we’re told might encounter something where the husband is pro Trump while the wife or daughter is pro Harris. I didn’t encounter that and at a couple of houses the husband was there but not the wife who was on our list.

Of the houses where the person on our list was home we got positive responses.

One funny incident was one house we came to the owner met us wearing a Harris Walz shirt and said she was going to give us an earful because she thought we were from the Trump
Campaign. My partner with me had a pin for a local state Senate candidate that looks a little like Trump - Pence. She was very relieved we were not Trump canvassers

Ann selzer is the best pollster in the industry. She's been the most accurate pollster for 4 cycles and she found older women were breaking for Harris by a 23 point margin. Who would've known that nominating a felon rapist would be a turn off for women?

Yet biden was obviously talking about the trump supporters at the Madison Square garden who cheered on the racist jokes as "garbage" yet right wingers ran with it as if he called everyone garbage. Suddenly right wingers care about context when the oast 4 years have shown you distort everything for your advantage

Its funny how right wingers don't like it when the tables are reversed

on Thurs, Trump made that comment to Tucker Carlson; his campaign immediately clean up his comment by blaming Liz Cheney

on Friday, Trump doubled down, pushng back against the characterization of his comment.

on Friday evening on his HBO show, Bill Maher blame media and Liz Cheney

why are right wingers so against biracial people? they have this weird hang-up about people whose parents are different races having to pick one. for example, trump previously said that kamala couldnt decide if she was black or indian and should pick one. he said he didnt even know she was black.

now basso posts this...when did she pretend to not be indian? and the comparison to warren is off-base at best...warren lied about being native american. has harris lied about being indian?
