An analogous situation - Throwing away money on tchotchkes and meaningless upgrades is seen by poor people who come into money for the first time as a perceived way to prove their new found wealth and power. And I'm sure some of his fellow Cybertruck tulip investors with the low end models are totally green with envy and feel inferior because he spent an extra $20k for that $.50 aluminum badge they stuck on there.

lol they get p***y like no other. Chicks love getting railed against a stainless steel fridge, imagine what they use the pickup bed for
Saw one with negative offset wheels on Saturday..like the owner said, "I don't know...it just doesn't look douchey enough". It was ****in' filty too. Why do they all look like they haven't been washed in a year?
There was a story out on Sunday about GEICO not wanting to insure them and today (for now) it appears that GEICO will still insure them.
The amount of hate in this thread for a vehicle is quite disturbing...and it's the same usual libtards from D&D
The amount of unfounded worship for these vehicles is quite disturbing... and it's the same usual wingnuts from D&D.
, oil tanker, bbq grill, buffet table, moon rover, place of worship, bomb shelter, skates for Godzilla, ...
I totally understand why the market nuked Tesla over the lack of substance during "We, Robot". The whole thing made me roll my eyes. However, after thinking about it for a day, I don't feel quite as negative. I find FSD 12.5.4.1 quite good on my HW3 Model 3. It will be interesting when they expand end-to-end highway to all vehicles and begin refining it.
The confluence of future-looking autonomous vehicles and future evil oligarch with weird, unplaceable foreign accent is delightful. It’s like every sci-fi movie from my childhood.
Tesla’s lead Cybertruck engineer, Wes Morrill, has clarified the Cybertruck tow hitch’s small 160 lb vertical load rating. Wes explains how the vertical load rating changes with distance and says, “The 11,000 lbs tow rating isn’t absolute.” Last month, we shared a line from Tesla’s official Cybertruck Owner’s manual that says the Cybertruck tow hitch is rated to carry the same vertical load as the Model Y hitch—160 lb or two bicycles. https://www.torquenews.com/11826/te...tch-controversy-says-11000-lb-tow-rating-isnt
Tesla........."Well, it depends on what you mean by 'tow.' And what you mean by 'rating.' And what you mean by '11,000.'.."
Firefighters found the vehicle overturned with an 18-year-old woman lying on the pavement, reportedly ejected from the Cybertruck. The woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Three other passengers—a 17-year-old girl, a 19-year-old, and a 60-year-old man—were trapped inside the vehicle and required hydraulic tools for extraction. All were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. https://eletric-vehicles.com/tesla/...-hours-leave-four-injured-no-deaths-reported/
