Bucks County is nearly 50/50 Democrat/Republican. It has gone Democrat every single Presidential Election except one since 1988. Also - the long line? Why? In Pennsylvania it isn’t like other states… you must fill out a request for a mail in ballot, then they have to check your ID with the roles and to ensure you haven’t already voted or received a ballot.
If people would do a little bit of research rather than jump to conclusions, we wouldn't have such disinformation out there. @Scarface281 is clearly ignorant on Act 77 and how it works, so now he is screaming voter fraud. I'm glad that early voting doesn't work like this in Texas, it would be incredibly frustrating. Republicans are the individuals that put Act 77 in place, then they were unhappy with it and try to overturn it, but this year, because Trump wants people to go vote early, Republicans are now pissed. Seems like the County was just following protocol and it just takes forever to process an early vote due to the annoyingly long process. @Scarface281 I'm super happy that you care about people voting. We all should care. @Salvy recently because passionate about this issue as well. We all should support people being able to vote if they are able to do so legally. My hope is that you guys that are outraged right now will keep fighting for voting rights and ensuring that we don't go to draconian measures and instead continue to modernize our voting system. Everybody should be able to cast their vote if they have a legal right to do so.
I'm screaming voter fraud? I didn't even bring it up initially, and was responding to someone else whining about Trump tweeting about cheating. Learn how to follow the convo and more about Act 77 (enacted in 2019). Even though it expanded mail-in voting in Pennsylvania, recent court rulings have highlighted issues in Bucks County. A judge extended the in-person mail voting deadline due to long lines and concerns over voter access. These red flags suggest the current implementation isn't just "standard protocol" but may indicate deeper issues affecting voter accessibility.
It feels like politicians in general do their best to make voting as difficult as possible. Mainstream voting should be this simple: Walk up to the ballot printer. Scan drivers license. Ballot prints. Fill out ballot Take ballot to the scanner. Scan Ballot. Scanner prints a receipt. Confirm receipt and select confirm on scanner. It shouldn't matter where you vote as long as its in the state where you register. Provisional ballots for anyone else who wants something different, including mail-in voting. Long lines should not be an excuse. There should be multiple locations with the ability to provide real time wait estimates.
You're wrong. You act as if the Presidential and statewide elections are the only thing on the ballot. So only people with driver's licenses can vote?
Que? This isn't the 1950's. Let me break it down further for you - Scan DL Computer pulls your information, including the district youre registered. The blank sheet of paper inside the printer then prints the ballot youre eligible for, regardless of where you are in the state. Its completely stupid and idiotic to use a manual system when the vast majority of voters have a DL. Anyone else who doesn't want to use this system can go wait in long lines that require arduous verification. Scanning DL and printing the ballot is how we do it in FL. Its very quick, easy and straight forward.
so elderly people, like my father, who no longer qualify for a driver’s license should not be allowed to vote, right? idiot.
Don't be so sure about that last part. I'll never understand the general wackadoodle batshit craziness of your "will rejoice" crowd.
Boomers who can't **** in toilets, think, or drive will still get their official IDs from somewhere like the DMV if it means they can vote. It's the youngins who don't care or think it through
Voter ID states barely holding the country together. If it was all democrat, they would permanently install their establishment and jail their opponents and kill their pet squirrels.
