I assume that's pretty fun -- I like that team of actors and especially respect some of Mark Ruffalo's studied activism on toxins, but I just wanna say: I'm not gonna follow actors or pop stars any more than I'm going to follow political advice from football players. So Nick Bosa can wear whatever hat he wants and the Avengers can release whatever vid they want, all good. But a video is one thing, right, but in a football sense, Bosa used bad judgment taking his teammates' post-game positive spotlight to make it about some politician. Not a good move for team unity. When you interrupt a teammate's interview, it's to tell the world how awesome that teammate is. Not about you, not about someone who's not on the team, or what food you like, or what reptilian politician you favor because you're dumber than a bag of hammers, etc.
It was and a very elementary way of making fun of someone. You'd do it as a child. But also he was making that same expression about several other people (who weren't disabled) during that same rally.
Somehow Walz's wife has my email address now and she is asking for money. I need a guarantee of at least one Beyonce song next time before I agree to anything.
A person should doubt everything until proven otherwise. Just because it's on CNN doesn't make it true. Real journalism takes an immense about of time and work. Real journalism is also extremely endangered. I don't know if its true, hence the "if true" part.
That you don't know it to be true really isn't the problem. I just don't know who that person is and how much credence I should give to what he says.
I heard more than a few German (expats and non expats) have moved from what was center and left to the right. He is hardly the only one.....merely a vocal one. The other stuff is good to know, thank you.
The Uncommited movement doesn’t endorse Harris but says its members should vote to stop Trump. https://www.npr.org/2024/09/19/g-s1-23736/uncommitted-movement-no-endorsement-harris-trump-2024 'Uncommitted' movement doesn't endorse Harris, but asks supporters to vote against The leaders of the "uncommitted" movement, which grew out of Democratic opposition to President Biden's policy toward Israel and Gaza, will not endorse Vice President Harris for president, but urged supporters to "vote against" former President Donald Trump and "avoid" third-party candidates. "Harris’s unwillingness to shift on unconditional weapons policy or to even make a clear campaign statement in support of upholding existing U.S. and international human rights law has made it impossible for us to endorse her," organizers of the Uncommitted National Movement said in a statement. "At this time, our movement 1) cannot endorse Vice President Harris; 2) opposes a Donald Trump presidency, whose agenda includes plans to accelerate the killing in Gaza while intensifying the suppression of anti-war organizing; and 3) is not recommending a third-party vote in the Presidential election, especially as third party votes in key swing states could help inadvertently deliver a Trump presidency given our country’s broken electoral college system," the statement continued. We’ve seen more than a few times people posting stuff that they doubt if true. And we wonder why we are flooded with so much misinformation.
