A moron with more than 2 brain cells can see CJ isn’t the problem. It’s the absolute trash ass offensive line along with Slowik’s inability to adjust.

CJ is greatness but unfortunately for QB’s you’re only as good as your O-line.

Would love a Mina and Kay Adams mash up.

I feel like when I was worried about Stroud against pressure, I thought that meant blitz. So when he balled out against the blitz, I just figured I was wrong and he worked it out.. but now I’m starting to think it’s when the OLine fails and he gets pressure he’s not planning on, he gets sped up and inaccurate.

I’m not bashing stroud or anything, but I think getting an elite OL is more important than anything else. I think he can pick you apart when he has time. But this pressure without blitzing is hurting him and us.

The thing is the line doesn't have to be elite. Just know the assignments in this offense.
Patterson/ Dieter and Fant would be heavenly welcomed right now.
    These dudes ain't it.

I can live with this response. I feel bad for him. We've all seen this before.

Take it on the chin. CJ missed some throws, notably Metchie for a likely TD and the line hasn't been great. What's new on that last part? CJ has to be better. With defenses playing two high, they aren't allowing too many deep shots and with the line not great, we need more quick throws. Seemed like we did this alot last season which made it seem like the line was better than what it was.

What happened to the RB and WR screens? We did a ton of these last season. Atleast that's what it seems. Mixon needs targets out of the backfield too. Get CJ comfortable with the short throws. Get into a rhythm early. Eventually, the DBs will cheap up and hopefully that's when we can beat them over the top.

He can't, and is not supposed to, say the things we're all talking about.

    Stand up guy.

Some of those short throws are there. They’re just not happening.
Bad playcalling and poor decision making.

Some of the stuff going on is uncanny. There is a good chance CJ is the most sacked QB in the NFL after the next game. This is David after we beat up Caleb Williams:

Stop it, Slowik doesn't need your input. He doesn't need CJ's input, he sure as heck don't need anyone else. Lmao

    Just playing...Slowik's terrible.

I still believe in CJ, but his regression is alarming. He does not look comfortable at all back there, which makes sense due to this putrid offensive line.

I think that’s fair. He deserves the benefit of the doubt, but to say he’s looked good is wrong.
The whole offense outside of Mixon and Nico have looked extremely suspect.

This miss by CJ was the worse. He could've hit Metch for a TD with a better pass. Also Dare was wide open for the checkdown near the 1st down mark.

Yep this was bad. Not seeing the field, rushing his throws, inaccurate. What happened to our boy CJ

He needs to remember his conversation with Brady and not always look for the long sexy throw because he doesn't have time for that. Or find some more podcasts to scout

CJ has nothing even remotely close to what the Texans put Carr through.

What was it, 68 sacks in his rookie year?
