Was he benching Jalen for damn near entire quarters for fun? Did he get traded? Nope. So why the **** are you out here trying to play daddy big balls with the Sengun fans and troll them like he's done when we literally witnessed Green get treated like he was "done" only to turn it around and now look like an emerging star? You're tedious as **** and being obtuse for no reason and you ****ing know it. Enjoy the win and be less of a d******d, geeze.

 

Good process is important. I promise you the Rockets' front office and coaching staff are not knee-jerking based on 5 games, nor should they be. It's hard to be patient, but we have a long way to go before the sample size becomes meaningful on a player's overall performance.

 

Lost in it all was Sengun getting Mavs bigs in foul trouble early.

 

Man obviously Jalen's pockets are fat, but that wallet has got to be busting out Costanza style with all those receipts.

 

I don’t think we should give up on Alpi, Ime just needs to find a better way to use him. Keep him on the move. Setting screens and play making instead of forcing post ups. Dudes on here started crying when I said Alpi should stop posting up because it’s clogging the lane and slowing down the offense in the 4th. It’s ok to do it early in games or when teams are in the penalty but the 4th quarter is Jalens time. Everyone on the team should be aware of this. All of the above leads back to Ime.

Hey big brain, the other team pulled their center, and their young back up center, because they couldn’t hack it against Alpi all night and ended up in foul trouble.

The mavs tallest player to end the game was Klay Thompson. They needed to go super small just to get back in the game. Jabari was also pulled. That’s how small the mavs went.

 

I hope our 3 point shooting will improve. Another vet shooter can help. Is McDermott still available or will Jack McVeigh breakthrough from the G- League?

 

Jalen's leading the league in clutch scoring through 5 games.... I suggest you lock TF in.

 

Tari and Amen have to play more. They’re going to be a problem.

This is why I went off about Jabari seemingly being a default starter last week. Its clear that Tari has surpassed him.

 

It's actually more fun said the British way "Daddy Big Bollocks" but it's a US audience so I had to adjust lol. Seriously though, let's stop the ****ing fan wars and enjoy that our guys managed to scrape one out rather than **** the bed tonight.

I agree with you. I hated Jalen too these last few years but his IQ has improved so much. Sengun was my favorite player in the league during his rookie season because his playmaking and slick post play was refreshing to watch. But now we all see Jalen is that guy and he shouldn’t be watching Alpi bang in the post in the 4th quarter(unless he has a mismatch). Me mentioning that sent these dudes into an uproar. I’m a rockets fan, I’m not a Jalen or Sengun only fan.

 

Easy way to stop the Rockets in the 4Q? Make sure Fred gets the ball with 10 or so seconds left on the clock. Pretty much a turnover.

First of all.....I don't think YOU can evaluate Tari's durability at this point. I'd actually like to see just for grins how he would handle 29 mins. vs.the 19 he played tonight. I have a feeling that you might would be singing a different tune as I don't think he is capable of it at this point. It's a lot easier to play reduced minutes...especially over a long season. I'm not even agreeing that he should take jabari's minutes....because he can't handle 29-34 mins. Maybe, just maybe Ime knows that as opposed to others on this board.
