FVV was dead throwing the game down the stretch... He needs to be slapped

 

In this game and the first Spurs game, it seemed like Jalen was holding off on really driving hard to the rim until crunch time.

I don’t know if it’s part of the gameplan or not, but it really works. When you have an athlete of that caliber going downhill, especially when the defenders are tired and/or tight…well I feel like good things will happen more often than not.

I truly believe this version of Green is sustainable. His defense was really really solid, and he crashed the defensive glass when his shot wasn’t falling early in the game. I’m excited about how he’ll keep growing this season

 

That was a huge game for our confidence.

By no means a great game, but its a great win with enough stacked together good moments that we can build on it.

The Filipino dude is the real superstar for this team. What a crazy three when it seemed Dallas was going to win this game.

Nah when Udoka called that time out and FVV was still on the floor you know Udoka just dont know and just played the vets cuz thats the only thing he knows to do.

Have Tari and Amen available during the home stretch? Thats funny cuz they didnt play until the last minute.

 

People need to stop complaining such and such player after a win. Rockets only made 23% from 3s and walked out with the W, it showed the resiliency.

As tough as a game as JG had, man he pulled enough together in the 4th to force us to victory. Honestly, the Mavs could have pulled that out with the way it was going - only down by 3 on their home floor with a few minutes?

Thank god he came through, it wasn't on his own, but he had 3-4 plays that slammed the door shut.

 

Its going to be interesting to see how Stone gets out of Sengun's contract. I like him but he's just not worth $40m per yr. May have to give up those Phx's picks

You are the only one triggered. But it’s only because you are coping with the reality of having to introduce yourself to a new fan base, I get it.

 

I think it has something to do with his developed maturity and it appears that he prioritizes reading the plays and takes advantage at what is a better opportunity at that particular time. In the Spurs game, he probably knows that the baguette is gassed and took advantage. For this game, when their bigs are on the bench, that's when he started attacking the rim.
