Can you explain why the economy will drop off? Or hopeful retribution?

With the massive spending going on in Washington, its much harder to bring down the economy in nominal standards. Lowering interest rates will likely lead to higher inflation. The president doesn't control this. However like during the Biden administration, certain sectors will do well and others will really struggle. The last couple years, I feel like I haven't done as well as I have since 2009. I am not going to jump on a cringy rant blaming Biden. It has more to do with the rate hike cycle.
Its possible significant cuts in government glut could have a drag on the economy in the short term.

Do they have to have an American flag suit to win?

they are like the publisher's clearinghouse prize party, looking for the Trumpiest of the Trumpers, it seems, to give that cash to.

Breh, flew into SFO but had to make the drive out to Oakland for our event downtown. SF looks well-kept from the freeway. But Oak, It was rougher than I remembered from Feb 2020, but also not as bad as I thought it’d be. Sure a lot of stores are shut down and it still smells like piss downtown, but hey at least they power washed the sidewalks this time!

I was working with this dude who used to be a PO for Alameda County. We didn’t talk politics much, but one thing was clear is that he isn't a Kamala fan. I asked if he had interactions with her. He said did and she was something else but he doesnt want to get into politics. Now if I had asked with just me and him maybe I could have gotten more but there was a lady who walked up too so we wanted to avoid. That answer was enough for me though.

Next I’m over in SF and this time in the streets. it was exactly what I expected: empty streets, poop trails on the sidewalk, vacant stores everywhere, and I walked right through the Tenderloin. It was like a mix of hotel workers on strike, people playing hopscotch over poop, random screaming, zombies wandering around, and street vendors with pop-up shops on the sidewalks.

Funniest part of the trip though? I’m at this gas station and spot the clerk with a bandaid on his ear. So just messing with him, I’m like "alright Trump!' and quickly say, "just playing" so he doesn’t get offended. He goes, "so you supporting Kamala then?'' I hit him back with "Nah we don’t support Kamala where I’m from." Dude just lost it he was laughing so hard.

Overall Oakland has more visible homeless encampments and feels more hood for sure, but the area we were in downtown wasn't as bad. Now in 2019 it was flourishing. It's sad to see. SF is worse and I actually wondered why people would pay top dollar to live there. It has lost its appeal. The only thing saving it is the weather, but you can get comparable weather in many of the suburbs of the Peninsula or Inner East Bay. So why waste your time with SF, especially if you're remote working 3-5 days a week.
