Well, Dems felt the "Puerto Rico is garbage" line would impact the election in Kamala's favor, even though people in Puerto Rico don't vote. There could be relatively apolitical family and friends of Trump supporters who are offended enough that it will sway them to vote for Trump. Biden put his foot in his mouth (again), and the Harris campaign is right to be furious about it.
I know Biden isn’t intentionally trying to sabotage Harris. Harris will preserve his legacy more than Trump will. Yeah, I had already read it. I didn't find it unimportant as you hinted. Hopefully those removed find out in enough time to get off work to vote. Not everyone has the opportunity to vote on election Day if they can't get the time off work to vote early last minute. That's probably part of the reason it's normally done 90 days out. It is pretty last minute.

Just the other day Trump at one of his rallies referred to Kamala supporters as “scum.” So where is the outrage and wall to wall coverage from even the local news to let everyone know about this “firestorm”?? The media is just pathetic. Even at the local level where they just can’t help themselves. Im sure you’re right that Kamala’s staff wasn’t happy about it and because they know that media can’t help themselves as you said there could be potentially one person who knows a MAGA who uses this to justify that vote for Trump but make no mistake… that person was always going to find some excuse to vote for Trump regardless.
