    This person can leak classified information regarding current military plans and doesn't even get fired meanwhile Trump has some banker boxes in his bathroom concerning who knows what, maybe nothing worth really being classified and he faces the full dick of the law?

    Just so I'm clear, "restricted access" means less access? That's how I read it.

    I guess there must be an on-going investigation and they are reassigning her with limited access during that process, which seems reasonable. If it turns out she is believed to be responsible and there aren't serious repercussions against her, then I would conclude the Pentagon is basically fine with the leak. It seems pretty clear that the US is not pleased with their inability to control how Israel is conducting the war with all the resources we are giving them.

    When I wrote I wasn't sure what else to conclude, I thought it was confirmed that she did it. It now appears that it isn't yet confirmed, so I guess an investigation is on-going.

    The promotion was reported on Oct. 24, the new assignment today. Appears to be two different moved, with the second one being damage control for PR purposes.

    She was only recently promoted? The tweet from earlier in the thread indicates that she was offered the new position a month ago, while the leak occurred mid-October. Do we know that she was promoted after the leak when she was believed to have been involved?
