The Jets offense is pretty pitiful this year. No excuse to lose this one, or for this to even be a close game for that matter. Their O-Line is a mess and our talented Front-7 should have a field day with them. Hopefully it’s a comfortable win and not yet another stressful one.
Probably a win. An actual win where we aren't sweating the last 2 minutes would be nice, but way too much to expect. They will frequently be outplayed and drive us crazy, but against one of the worst team in football they will hold on to eek out a late victory.
Unless the O-line gets some changes or magically discovers how to pass block, I don't see the Texans winning this game. There needs to be changes on the O-line - not a chance I let my franchise quarterback get hit like he has the past couple of weeks.
Trap game 100%. CJ better be quick at releasing the ball or just run it for 5 yards instead of an incompletion.
This game makes me nervous (PTSD of course) with the Jets losing as they have, A Rodgers could come back with a big game, he has not looked great and Adams hasn't done much so I hope this is not there "get right" game. Last year's loss at Met Life has me nervous.........I hope we fix the KG problem and get some new life in the O Line...................personally I want to see a big Tank Game, but he just hasn't looked like he was last year If the Texans win, that could be the end of the Aaron Rodgers era in NY...........all that money and draft capital for Aaron, it could end ugly, do they try and trade him to get some draft capital back
LOL WTF why do we get posters that same this **** every week regardless of who we play? Does anyone ever believe we're going to win?
Not a great matchup for The Texans’ passing offense with all (3) wideouts healthy much less with only 1 of 3. Jets stout secondary is 2nd in NFL in passing yards allowed. They’re more middle of the pack in rushing DEF so Texans/Mixon will likely be the game plan, but The Jets know that. On the other side of the ball, Jets are middle of the pack passing (so Rodgers hardly makes for something to fear on Halloween), but perhaps more shocking: Jets are 3rd from last in the league in rushing despite having arguably the league’s second best RB entering this season. Both Jets offensive ranks, despite skill-positional talent, would lead one to speculate their team has line problems that the Texans’ D-line should be able to exploit. Finally, it’s a short-week Thursday night matchup which tend to be sloppy in general, speculatively due to less time to prepare, so I’d expect a low-scoring ugly game dictated by the defenses and perhaps the OC’s being conservative and not wanting to make mistakes. Of course, The Jets’ true OC is on the field in Aaron Rodgers so he may very well override these sentiments. The Jets have been in dire need of a win for a few weeks now, and now find themselves 2-6 coming off a loss to N.E…..perhaps the worst team in the league. Will that make The Jets more or less formidable this week on the road?
Joe Mixon game with (2) TE’s blocking and possibly peeling off in the passing game. Tank Dell minus Nico and Diggs will disappear against elite Jets’ secondary. There is a possibility that lack of tape on a Diggs-substitute such as Metchie could be a surprise candidate to eat out of the slot
Our pass rush is going to punish Aaron Rodgers. We should be able to run Joe all over their ass. Jets are in disarray and even though they have a solid pass defense I still see CJ being able to move the sticks through the air. HOU 23 NYJ 20
