The 50 number is also false. She herself walked that back to "under 30". According to the Bay Guardian the real number is between 5-10. If you like her, that's fine. I was just curious if in your expert opinion that is a low number.
About as important as asking Trump if he prefers tabs or no tabs on his diapers, of if he likes MEGA MAX because it sounds like MAGA.
It depends on the philosophy and set up of the county. How many prosecutors, how the work is assigned etc. I had more trials for sure and know others who did too - but we were encouraged to try cases and it wasn’t assigned purely on seniority. If there were senior attorneys taking all the triable cases then you wouldn’t have as many chances. I wouldn’t say 30 is a big number but it is enough to know what you are doing. The only people who would know for sure would be the other people that worked with her closely for a long time. She shouldn’t have exaggerated her number of trials when she ran in San Francisco - I know saying she prosecuted hundreds sounds better than saying she tried 30… but it’s dishonest and wasn’t necessary.
