Honestly, they're all just random people on Twitter, I couldn't give a flying **** about ANY of them.
If when we get up by 20 we don't just decide to jack up terrible shot early in the shot clock. That would help to. What is with these fvv plays at the end of 3rd quarter.
I was a Green disbeliever until this season. I'm gonna eat a huge ass crow if he keeps playing like this.
He was always going to be a late bloomer like his comparisons in the draft, but this is great for the future. He'll continue to grow over time. During the rebuild, Rockets fans are finally seeing how patience pays off with talented young players who put in the work.
Too bad the whole team is not really that good right now. The All Star nod would be great for him. Need to work on his assists though to make the next step to maybe All NBA 2nd or 1st team one day. We'll see how the season shakes out. Definitely a breakout season as media predicted.
The next Corey Brewer cometh. BTG basketball acumen and prognosis on full display for perhaps the next decade.
It may be the schedule, but at the very least this is easily the best start to Jalen's career. So it's definitely more promising than I've felt in any of the previous years. And he's making 3s finally at a clip that is needed from the SG position. If he can maintain something close to this level of play for the season, the early career comps I've made about him as a Bradley Beal type player can come to fruition.
As a longtime Jalen doubter (but never a hater), it was great to see him excel in the closer role against the Spurs. Being able to score in crunch time is something he must be able to do. It was pathetic the Rockets crumbled and the game went down to the wire, but how they responded the last 8 minutes to win was worth it.
He still needs to work on those passes out of doubles. Teams are going to blitz him more and more now as they did towards the end of March. You saw Green start to try to split these blitzes. One attempt he got fouled and almost made Wemby break an ankle from Wemby wiffting on Green's cross and the other time he lost the ball. Then in one possession late in the fourth he threw it away. So he has to figure out what works more because it's going to ramp up now for other teams. Green has to practice slipping that pass. Sometimes try to be creative and split the double. Sometimes if you can't get a passing angle just maintain the dribble and back out and force the switch.
Definitely. He also needs to keep on improving his handle and perfecting his jumper. If his stamina gets better, he can become consistent. Cam needs to become a better team player too. Jalen can't carry the load every night, but his promising start is encouraging.
I liked his tough layup over Stephen Castle. He isn't avoiding physical contact right now. If he keeps this up, his confidence will rise.
Sadly I think Dillon and Fred are declining offensively.......it is what it from the first 4 games. Cam, Amen, Reed are all teenagers still..........too young. Lord have mercy, I wish.
Dillon is ok, but Fred seems to be declining . This is an alarming sign, since he is our point guard. Udoka should run the offense alternatively through Sengun and FVV. Sengun can pass the ball to Jalen, Bari and Tari for C/S opportunities.
Dillon isn't the 16 ppg scorer he was on Memphis nor is an intelligent guy. But you are right that Dillon can provide things that Fred cannot becaue he is 6'6 to 6'7 with a massive build.
