I don't like Demeco's comments on Kenyon. "He had good snaps too!..". What the hell is this? Seems like he's going to keep giving him chances until it's too late and CJ is injured.

The fact that Green actually got benched and only came back because of a concussion to Patterson meant that there's a chance Demeco was just doing coach talk. Hopefully there's changes at LG....depends who's out there in practice.

Texans are the most tight lipped orginization in the league. Nobody knows f*ck about sh*t of what Caserio is doing.

Should’ve gotten Adams when he had the chance. It was the perfect scenario, since he was already signed for next year and Diggs was probably going to walk. It’s going to cost more to get a significant WR now and my guess is that we will not even pursue one. I do think he is probable searching for more depth on the OL.

That is a good thing. Astros are the same way and I have no problem with it. Why should you give trading partners or opponents anything not completely necessary? I’m not saying you were saying the opposite, as you just put out an observation. I just agree with the approach, although I’m frustrated as the next guy on the lack of information on Diggs.

It's crazy that as much as fans have complained about how the team has looked so far this season that the interior defensive line hasn't even remotely been a part of that. So many of us thought that would be our achilles heel going into the season, and it's actually been a strength. Mario Edwards Jr, Fatukasi, Settle and now Autrey being back have really come through for this team. I'm glad we didn't sell out and overpay for one of the big name DTs because we are getting great value out of the players we have.

the best example of the Texans organization's ability to STFU, is with Dylan Horton. Our 4th round pick disappears for 'personal reasons' for his entire rookie season and for a year no journalist was able to figure out why (or maybe they knew and kept it quiet to be nice). Horton got to go through chemo in privacy and release the information on his own terms. I am sure he appreciated that. If this was the Jets that would of been leaked within hours.

Adams? Davante Adams? The one who only wanted to be traded to the Saints or Jets?

Well, the name out there right now is Diontae Johnson, there’s no reason a rebuilding franchise like a Carolina wouldn’t want to move him for picks, and speculation among NFL insiders is the price could be a 5th RD pick. The following is from Rotoworld:

“The Athletic’s Joe Person writes that the Panthers “should be able to land a fifth-round pick” for Diontae Johnson.
Johnson is in the final year of his deal and the Panthers have reportedly not been happy with his missed practices and on-field play. Of course, the Panthers were the ones who chose not to extend Johnson when they acquired him last offseason. Person lists the Buccaneers, 49ers, Commanders, Chargers, and Texans (if Stefon Diggs is knocked out) as potential landing spots for Johnson. It sure seems like he’s the big name most likely to move before the deadline.”

Fortunately they did this after both games against us. It will be tough for them to get back in the division race now, especially with their schedule coming up. Texans just need to not implode.

With DeMeco at the helm, I trust his judgment on talent acquisitions on defense.
