So I went back and re-watched all three games. Green has been really, really good on defense. Plus, if you extrapolate the three-point percentage from the first three games in the preseason, I am really feeling like we’re going to see him level up a little bit.
The reward for being fouled must be significantly more than the field goal in order to achieve the deterrent purpose. How much more is debatable. With another case, some people want to get rid of the charging foul to make the defender play "real defense." But that would encourage the offensive player to recklessly going through people rather than using skillful footwork to get around defenders. It would reward the big and strong but unskilled players.
Yes, I am more focusing on non-shooting fouls. For the shooting fouls, I still find the reward too much but that is a secondary concern I guess.
That's a reasonable statement, but in the current nba the fouls are called way too easily and favors the offense. If you want to penalize the fouls like that then you should let the defenses play defense.
Enjoying somebody else telling someone else that he is stupid and making a post about it... I am sure you are very smart, lol.
https://bvmsports.com/2024/10/28/rockets-jalen-green-impresses-popovich-as-future-remains-uncertain/ I think Pops is going to be even more impressed with Jalen after this game
"Let the defense play defense"... This is dumb... You're gonna have a bunch of players hammering tf outta dudes constantly... The games are gonna be a mess and the playoffs will be even worse. This removing FTs/lowering the efficiency of free throws is a horrendous take.... Would actually ruin the game.
To the other Jalen faithful, just wanted to say I'm proud of y'all for sticking by our true numero uno, franchise player, the Pinoy Mamba
