Every team is picking on green because its obvious hes the weak link. Exacerbates the problem

Now that's a dog right there. Not sure we have an OL that'll do that. Last year we did see it a few times.

He was talking about the o-lineman...

We saw Packers defensive players get in CJ's face and our coward o-linemen did diddly squat

I know, but nobody has done anything like that to cj, he was just trying to injure the qb in the clip

Kendrick should be playing... Nick needs to chalk this one up. I think he is still trying to prove he made right choice over Hamilton (he didn't)

If kendrick green can't replace kenyon green then this is a big ****up by caserio/ryans. We are using our backup center for LG and its not because of injuries?

10-30 would also be an upgrade at a lesser price.
    Eichenberg and Jones from Miami.
    Lucas Patrick from N.O

You guys know more than me about that stuff. I don't really know much about offensive linemen. All I know is I'd sure like to see us have a top 5 offensive line before I die. o_O

Watching Kenyon Green single-handedly let Stroud get smoked twice on one drive. Then get benched for Patterson and we immediately go down the field and score a TD..

I couldn’t believe how sad Green looked on the sideline, like dude be better. But I also loved how well we did with Patterson because it does appear that some of the OL woes can be fixed by replacing one person. I mean I know they have some warts as a unit, but it got to the point when Green came back in the game that you could just pick him out before the play started and watch him fail.. EVERY. PLAY.

Just switch out Patterson for Green and watch the offense take off. Nothing is more damaging than interior pressure. You have no pocket and can’t set your feet.

Can we just sign another veteran LG for this Thursday's game? He won't be any worst than the the guy we got now...seriously.

Ultimately, it was the previously subbed-out Green who went back in, a choice Ryans made with conviction.

“There was no overthinking it,” Ryans said Monday. “Kenyon got a lot of reps throughout the week, and he was the guy to go in.”

The 2022 first-round pick’s return wasn’t pretty to start. He allowed three consecutive pressures on his first three snaps, including an obvious overloading of his left side on third down to force a Stroud incompletion and a punt.

But Green did improve. He allowed just two more pressures after his first drive back and didn’t give up a sack for the rest of Houston’s 23-20 victory over the Colts. Ryans took notice of those improvements.

“A lot of people want to focus on the bad,” Ryans said. “Everybody has bad reps here and there, and we can all focus on that, or we can look at it positively. (Green) had some really good plays as well.”

Ryans spoke more about Green on Monday, as well as his team’s strong defensive effort and quick-turnaround trip to take on the New York Jets on Thursday night. Here’s the best of what he said.

On his coaching strategy to get Green playing to his full potential:

“For all of our players, when it comes to coaching, it’s all about just being positive and uplifting guys and trying to help them as best we can. With techniques, fundamentals, trying to help our guys to go out and play their best. It’s always encouragement from everyone.

“As we all know, we are all still in a business. We have to get our job done. And no matter what position you play, no matter what’s your role, you have to go out and get your job done, and you have to play to the best of your ability. So we’ll keep encouraging. We’ll keep uplifting our guys. Everything about here and what we do is about positive energy. That’s who I am, that’s what I represent, and that won’t change.”

Yeah, that's obviously all fluff and coach speak. Problem with Green is...he's having bad reps every play, not just here and there. Let me know when there's positivity to look at.

If the Texans start Green this week they are not a serious organization.

OL is a spot where 4 pro bowlers can still be mediocre if there's truly one major weak link, and right now Green is a gigantic liability. Even DB's can be covered for with scheme to a degree, if a lineman simply can't keep people in front of him consistently you are f**ked.

Leaving Green out there with Williams and McDonald coming at him should be a criminal offense.
