Conservative America has some difficulty expressing and understanding why Nazis are bad and how Nazis became Nazis. A world war that involved our boys fighting and dying in the thousands meant that the faction known as "Nazis" as "very very evil". Obviously they know Nazis mass murdered Jews. I'm not claiming that majority of Trump voters are Holocaust deniers. I'm talking about conservatives not understanding HOW Jews became scapegoats and why they became scapegoats for hatred and apply those lessons to their current reality in front of them. Conservatives understand Nazis are evil. They understand what a Nazi looks like in terms of uniform and symbols. This is precisely why the American neo-nazi white nationalist movements had these concepts of "power levels" where they actively hid the literal Nazi regalia and used "dog whistles". Dedicated ideological neo-Nazis... The ones who know exactly why the Nazis were Nazis and how they became Nazis and... Liked it.... Those people understand that there are ideas and narratives within the minds of many conservative white Americans who don't believe they are Nazis, who openly would shout about their disgust of Nazis and sincerely mean it, that have similar logical thought processes as 1920s early fascist movements in Germany in terms of the nativism, the fear of demographic shifts etc. White supremacist movements are now ditching the power level system and are being more up front due to the Maga movement.
