The chiefs were a blatant PI not called late away from having a loss. They’d be 1 game up on us. They’re currently in a one possession game with the Raiders. They won their first four games by 20 combined points. 20.

if we’re not contenders than I think there’s only 1 in the AFC at all. After 8 games, there’s only one team with an equal to or better record than ours in the conference. And we have a win already against one of the AFC teams that’s been called a contender all season long.

maybe it’s just semantics…but I can’t see saying that any team in the AFC is a contender other than the Chiefs if the Texans aren’t contenders.

Wow. Can’t say I’ve heard that before from a starting QB. Particularly when the next play was a 3rd down in the red zone and your team needs a TD bad.

Chiefs look real mid right now in Vegas….6 penalties in one quarter. Raiders down 4 and on the Chiefs 5 yard line.

I thought Texans should have outright signed Hopkins last offseason. Even regressed, its not often a player of his caliber is even available, and cheaper than the normal rate. They went safe vet "culture guy" with Robert Woods. Then went with diva distraction Stefon Diggs anyway, for $10 million dollars more yearly. Diggs costs almost as much as Woods & Hopkins combined. Oh well

We need more signature wins and better wins as well. The Chiefs might not be world beaters either, but I don't believe we are contenders.

Chiefs goal line defense is insane. Raiders had 7 chances to score in the red zone in the last couple of minutes and couldn't punch it in

"With Houston already playing without WR Tank Dell (broken leg) ?????" What it is this?

Of course but ppl saying the Texans have zero chance beating Baltimore is ridiculous. Ravens literally lost to 2 backup qbs this year. That defense not the same.

CJ and a good defense can beat anyone, but my confidence level against certain teams is very low.

Defensive tackle can be a low tackling position (contrary to the position name). Especially nose tackles. Can vary game to game. Even some situational pass rushers dont get pure tackle numbers, they're in there for QB hurries more than tackle stops. Then sometimes if teammates are single handedly putting guys down on solo tackles, it can take away from getting an "assisted tackle" stat lol. I think the tackles will come with more reps

Landry said Kendrick Green (the superior KG) was pissed on the sidelines about not getting PT. He threw his helmet and looked visibly upset. Wonders why he wasn’t put in. Is he worse than inferior KG? Does the staff not trust him? Feels that maybe it’s bc he’s our back up C and they don’t wanna risk losing him. Kinda like an encase of emergency break.

probably means we won’t see inferior KG on the bench against the Jets.
