All over a good game from Alperen but the second half was not good enough in my opinion but there are a lot of guys played very bad. This game looked like the games 2 years ago. Sad game to lose after a 18 Point lead.

Just a bit of criticism: A franchise player shouldn't be missing that many easy shots. I expect him to bounce back. He needs to figure out how to handle matchups like Grant Williams. I’d like to see more mid-range shots and less dependence on post-ups. Playing bully ball can wear you out if you rely on it too much...

I noticed this too and it's not typical for him. I think he ended up doing too much in the first half and got himself gassed and came apart in the second half when other teammates didn't show up either.

Not an excuse - he needs to be better at pacing himself and letting his teammates know what kinds of help he needs when especially if he wants to be the leader of this team. It's so easy to make this mistake when you are young - you think you'll look good by taking everything on and will gloriously prevail at the end by overcoming impossible odds and achieving something impossible. Most of the time you won't be able to and just burn out and will also feel bad because that's the outcome even you've put it all out there. Hopefully just a rookie phase thing.

moral of the story, hit your threes. Guards can't go 8/28 from 3pt land and survive any game.

    Excellent work.

But I only trust preseason net rating stats.

The box score doesn't back up this take, but I didn't think sengun played as well today as he did the first game.

Still a good game from him but he felt a bit off.

Udoker has him running around all game setting screens…that has to be tiring. Oh and then chews his ass for not getting back on D.

I think they didn't post him up once in the whole game and he still finished with 16 points.

He needs to take more mid range shot when he’s open. Keep the defense honest

That is fair. It was horrible to watch him in the 2nd quarter like most of these players.

Yeah, they gave him the open shot. He just kept driving to the densely packed interior.

Should have finished with 19 sure points and 6 more trips to the foul line. Had scratch marks on his neck like Edney wanted to give him a Colombian neck tie.

It's really hard to see how great he is if the team he's on seems to play better without him.

He is very predictable this year.
The push shot and mid ringe from last year is non-existent.
