The most likely scenario is one candidate winning all 7 of the swing states by a close margin. The reasoning is that all of them are +/- 2 ... so if the polling is 2-3% points off, then that candidate should sweep the states by a narrow margin. The actual tallies will be very close, but I agree that there is a scenario where Trump or Harris could get over 300 ECV... in fact I think it is better than 50/50. Georgia and Wisconsin are two states to look out for closely - if Harris wins Georgia, she is winning all or almost all of the close states...... same with Trump, if he wins Wisconsin, then he is winning the rest of them too.
Is it me or the nature of how each side is advertising their chances on social media a good indication that there is no ambiguity that the Trump campaign is going to claim the election was stolen? A presidential campaign traditionally wants to sell the notion that the election is razor thin because you want to make sure people are motivated to get out to vote. A presidential campaign spamming polls about how this should be a landside is signaling to me that they are prepping their voting base to not accept the results because they are coming into election night assuming it should be a landslide.

well, if there is another J6, I fear a lot more people will be injured or dead. Law enforcement will not and should not allow people to storm the capitol again. If a large mass of Trumpers try to break into the capitol, it’s going to get very ugly and very bad for the country. The government will need to prepare barriers and have a massive presence of law enforcement and national guard to deter stupidity of another J6.

You know not every day lection cycle the former chief of staff of a former president and a current presidential candidate publicly says that said candidate wants the type of generals Hitler has. Not often a major presidential candidate of one of the two major parties says that migrants " poisoning to blood of our country". The idea that Trump can't be fascist because he branded himself in the 90s and 2000s as an eccentric playboy rel estate tycoon is absurd. "The elites" like clown shows and reality TV revenue. Trump is good for that. Elites suddenly get concerned when the clown is in charge of our 10 nuclear powered naval carriers.
I'm less afraid of what will happen physically at the Capitol and more worried about individual swing states doing funny business with the ballots based on who is running these elections in each respective state. There has been a very meticulous process by MAGA politicians across the country to make sure the mechanisms for things like the fake electors works next time.
