The Jewish community is very small. The majority of Jewish people I have met around the world have close relatives living in Israel. I was at an event in Berlin yesterday and spoke to a very senior person from one of the big tech companies. She told me about how she lost relatives on October 7. The details were horrific and moved me to tears. She was living in London at the time. She and her family subsequently moved back to Israel. She said that with violent antisemitism rearing its ugly head where she lived (due to the unholy leftist Islamist alliance), for her and her family, it felt like the only place to be, and to defend. It's their right, even if they are Americans or Brits or Germans by nationality, to care about their relatives and friends in Israel. There are countless majority Christian and Muslim countries. Only one tiny Jewish state.
It is funny. However - part of what upsets me about this is that any other group that said their first loyalty was to another nation would be crushed and rightfully so. Can you imagine Mexican Americans saying their first loyalty is to Mexico after being in the USA for 50 years? How about Muslim Americans having been in the USA for half a century and then saying their first concern is Mecca and how it is treated. It is absurd - German Americans were crushed around WWI because of the fear their loyalty was to the Kaiser - Japanese Americans were put in ****ing camps 70 years ago out of unjustified fear they would be loyal to the Emperor. Yet we have 90 year old men - and in some cases, third and fourth generation Jewish Americans (not all of even most) claiming that Israel is their #1 concern - not the economy, not civil rights in the country they live in, not opportunities or young people in the USA - but a tiny county on the other side of the globe --- and a lot of idiots don't even think about it and accept it because we have as a nation been brainwashed for 70 years that it is acceptable or even a positive thing for one group of people to put the fait of a foreign nation over their own.
We need to protect upper middle class lawyers living in Long Island to have the ability to displace some rural Palestinian farmers in the West Bank. The entire narrative of there being many Muslim countries and one Jewish countries shows how you group humans so willy jolly pretending that Palestinians are the same as any other group of Muslim around the globe. And then there is the fact that an Israeli Jew has an open invitation to visit any EU country as the ly please with no wait time or visit or move to the US with minimal visa paper work tha ris processed within weeks and the average Palestinian is lucky to escape Gaza after 2 years of trying to apply for immigration to some EU country or America. And then there is the fact that a Jewish person is safer in America than in Israel.

I don't care if the Jewish community is small - there are lots of small communities in the USA and around the world. I don't care if Jewish people have relatives living in Israel - the majority of immigrants in the USA have friends and relatives living overseas. That isn't unique to Judaism. Yes - what happened on October 7th was horrific, a lot of innocent people were murdered by terrorists - but that has nothing to do with an American then claiming their top concern is a nation across the globe... especially after being in the USA for so many years. Anti Semitism is real and it is a problem - not supporting the policies of Israel or believing that it is absurd for someone living in the USA to have another nation as their top concern is not necessarily anti-Semitism.
