I don’t think we see Christian this year hell he is pulling a Kyle Tucker. Might as well get surgery or something

Would Gary think about consulting for the offense?

Thats what I’ve been asking. Elite talent like CJ with an elite offensive mind like Kubes would be an instant upgrade

I dont think he wants that 14 hour coaching grind anymore, the man damn near died for us on the sidelines, but if he can come in for a few hours and review the game plan and offer some wrinkles within the scheme that can combat the DCs strategy that would be a win for us. Very few people on earth know this offense quite as well as Gary Kubiak.

Henry To'To isn't practicing today so may not want to get your hopes up for that. Hopefully they're just being extra careful and he still plays.

The Green Bay game really put me down. Even though we almost won, there are two things that I think are definite with this team. 1) This offense can be neutralized with a good defensive scheme. We've seen this all season long, some teams have a successful scheme from the jump (GB, Minny), others have made adjustments in game (Bears) and stifled the offense. 2) When things get late and tight, our coaching staff does not make situationally smart decisions. This was on full display at the end of the Packers game, but let's not forget we completely screwed up the clock management at the end of the Buffalo game as well. We were lucky as hell Buffalo then screwed it up more by throwing the ball three times.

I still think we are a playoff team, but without these issues getting fixed we are nowhere near a SB contender. These weaknesses will show very quickly in the playoffs. The problem is I don't think either of these are fixable without a philosophical change in how the offense is run, and more coaching experience. It's possible neither of these can be fixed this season.

I don't think we're the only team this is happening to. I think this is happening to 10 teams. This does not scream player safety.

There is a reason why football is only played ONCE per week. To expect these guys to play what amounts to two playoff games back to back and within 4 days of one another is all kinds of F'd up. League is going Roman colosseum with the players and sacrificing them for ratings.

Unfortunately, it's going to take a big name QB being injured to prevent this in the future.

Hopefully it doesnt come at the expense of one of our most vital players. Not sure I would even celebrate a 3-0 run if it meant we lost a guy that was needed for the playoffs - God forbid its CJ.

I would love to see that, but unfortunately as we sit right now, I would say 1-2........as it looks now, we are not on the same level as the Ravens or the Chiefs. Now, if we can do a 180 on the O Line and scheme, maybe, but I think were too far into the season to make a philosophical change, they're going to have to fix this with the dudes and coaches we have

zero chance we beat the ravens or chiefs. Their defense would terrorize our offense, and Slowik would have no answers.
