Seen some outlandish theories about who he will eventually become. One said that Sophia has huge implications in the next Batman flick, and one of the theories is she is near death at the end of this show, and he (Juice) becomes Mister Freeze and keeps her alive in cryo. On another note, Eve "Karlo" was alluded to be a master of disguise with the wigs in this episode, alluding to Clayface. I absolutely love the Matt Reeves universe for Batman. Grounded Batman is always the best Batman.
That's interesting, I kind of saw him as similar to a Harley Quinn type. The shrink working at Arkham who falls in love with an inmate then joins them in a life of crime.
I enjoyed last night's episode a lot. I said "this is ****ed up" when little Oz locked his brothers in the tunnels. I expect we'll get some sort of confrontation between Oz and his mother in the finale about the fate of his brothers. The psychiatrist's red lights being used on her during their "session" felt ominous and it's the one thing that will shatter Oz.
I’m behind. These episodes where Falcone is younger and talking to Sophia….hes wearing the brown version of the Persol sunglasses that Bruce Wayne wears the black version of in The Batman. I know this because I own those glasses (in black) and I’m a dork.
Loving this show. Saw an interview with Collin where the host suggests, it's a completely different person. Collin poking fun at himself responds,' Right. Like what's the point. I asked myself the same thing." Now I am like why did they do that? Was the creator inspired by Dick Tracy the movie. They still left a little of Pacino in the face. Thought about Uncle Fester but you definitely still see Christopher Lloyd. I can't stop thinking about that. 1st world, for now, problems.
Thought it was a solid finale with a particularly brutal moment that I should have seen coming. Nice set up for his character's position on the next film....
I binge watched it over the weekend for the finale. A lotta good things about this show. I didn't like Reeves's Batman enough to remember it, but the feel and setting worked perfectly for the penguin.
Spoiler Can someone name a TV series (not a movie) where the main character is so irredeemably and pervertedly evil? "Anti-hero" is not dark enough to describe this version of the Penguin. There isn't a flicker of light in his hallway.
