We have the least imaginative offense in the league. Ime hasn’t really taught these guys anything more than Silas did.

Does it matter, Soft Jabari Smith, Alperen Sengun slow defense against Zach Edey.
Pick and Roll defense against Ja Morant is a Nightmare for Sengun.

I realized that Ime is a Fraud putting Jalen Green in the Corner last season while Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks chuck up 3s.

I really hope fans let Ime Udoka have it with Dillon Brooks and Jabari Smith starting over Amen Thompson, Cam Whitmore. That is Nepotism at this point.

…rather than just blame an off night for a bad loss, the Rockets spent Thursday in the video room with a long session spent studying defensive issues to be corrected.

They believed the offensive issues were part of the process, with one game not enough to measure progress on improving a shortcoming. That might be understandable, but the defense was supposed to get them through those tough times didn’t. Beyond that, it appeared that there will be more times that it will have to.

The issue I have is that it resembled the 2018 post season too much. The more we missed a 3 pointer the more 3 pointers we wanted to launch. Are those really good shots? After brick #10, it should be abandoned.

Not to sound like Nick Nurse, but badly missed threes really do put you at a disadvantage, defensively.

Hey Dillon, no reason to risk it. I'd go ahead and rest up. :p

Yeah Edey will be an issue against us because of our lack of perimeter shooting and non creativity offense

I thought they said Steven Adams would be ready to go when the season started? Still nursing the knee injury?

So you are ok with Jalen shooting 15 threes a game when we all know that is not his strength?

Unfortunately for him to make a leap opposing teams have to respect his three to a point where they don't religiously go under screens or play drop coverage on him.

His ability to blow by defenders is just significantly feared more than his ability to hit a jumper with space. Until that fear gap closes where it's more even, he's going to get those looks every game.
