Who was it saying that people don't exist who don't watch the games but think they can comment? Lol, I've seen several of these posts already tonight, bunch of fake ass fraud fans.
I don’t know why this dude won’t drive especially when he has a mismatch. He needs to limit himself to 5 three point attempts a game. Work the mid range area and drive to the hoop to get to the free throw line. Lamelo drove every chance he got, even when he had no chance of scoring. His free throw attempts in the second half changed all the momentum of the game. Im starting to feel like Ime is not telling him nothing, and just letting him do whatever.
One positive note that shows a massive improvement from Green over the past year.... Ime actually keeps Green in all defensive line ups at the end of games. Would any one ever dream that would happen in the middle of last season?
That's normal for a SG and as a franchise player, Jalen has the utmost right to shoot 15 threes. It's up to him and not anyone else.
Sengun actually got the seat for Amen. I thoughr Sengun played well defensively. I would of rather seen Jabari get the seat.
Or quite frankly Fred. When you are denying inbound plays, length is important. A line up of Sengun, Bari, Tari, Amen, Green should be a all defensive line up to deny inbound passes.
I think Ime went for Small ball rather than really benching Sengün, it was a mistake that he corrected and Charlotte already went up with a lead.
Green has never even shot 40% from midrange in his career. Why would you want him to take more shots from midrange?
That was criminal, I was legit screaming at him through my screen. How the **** you benching the star player for a scrub player?
He is not consistent from anywhere.......he has hot moments from everywhere but he prefers to shoot the 3.... not from close range, not from midrange, not from the 3. When they go in, he beats teams like the OKC even. But you cannot rely on shooting 3s when you have never been a consistent shooter. That is why he did not get the Max, he does not have a consistent Bag or go to moves that cannot be countered.
This is nothing to do with a bag. A offensive bag exists to create separation and a clean look. Look at almost all of his 15 threes. Pretty much all of them were with balance and with the defender giving up space from either a dribble move by Green or the defender feared his drive more than his shot. I'm pretty confident the coaching staff is telling him to take the shot the moment a defender steps back or plays under the screen. The entire purpose of a offensive bag is to get clean shots. The shots Green took were almost all clean shots.
I'm pretty sure the coaching staff is just telling them all to let it fly when there's an inch of space because they have no better ideas to actually come up with a game plan beyond "play hard, do defense, take shots they'll go in eventually."
Would you rather have 25 pts, 18 rebs, 5 asts, 4 stls, 2-3 threes, 1 block Positive net rating, +10 +/- or 28 pts, 2 rebs, 5-15 threes, 0 asts, 0 stls, 0 blocks Negative net rating, -11 +/- And it's just one game, but on net rating in this game...why in the world would you sit Sengun for Amen?
Small ball but it did not work and Udoka changed it back but was too late and Hornets were buzzing. Kudos to the Hornets and Lee, did not think they were capable of that. No excuses.
Why would you sit one of the guys actually scoring though, rather than one of the guys (Bari, it should've been Bari, ****ing Jabroni ass) doing all of nothing?
I'd rather have neither performances to be frank. If Sengun for the season has a 52% ts that would be an epic disaster. 5 to 3 assist to turnover ratio isn't a Sengun standard either. You should have higher expectations for Sengun especially when he had a less efficient night than Green scoring wise. Both played suboptimal but both also showed they are probably are most talented offensive creators also. I don't know why you are pitting Sengun against Green here other than to spread some toxicity which you are good at in other sub forums but are rather tame in the GARM.
Yes, agreed. I think Ime (whom I think is great overall) is sometimes OVERLY focused on defense and almost forgets offense. Was Steven Adams being held out for rest? I really want to see Alpi with Adams.
