I didn't like Jalen going full Kobe during the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but he at least had a hot first to justify it in his mind.

FVV starting 0-7 from 3, most of those off the dribble, is inexcusable.

Ya and did Reed even attempt a 3? Like that is a failure in coaching to not get Reed one good three point look.

 

FVV's confidence is annoying sometimes.

He CONSTANTLY drives into paint with nothing but bigs in there and tries to finish over them. Does it multiple times per game. Rarely goes well.

Seems like jalen and vanvleet chucking and forgetting that they got the lead through team ball was what lead to the lost tonight. Also the starting line up has been lack luster for what seems like two seasons, not sure what udoka continues to stay with the same lineup.

 

Fred played like hot trash but still played the most minutes in our players.

It's hard not to blame Udoka for the loss.

 

I just don't understand how a head coach who played in the league never learned anything more than the first thing I learned on my first day of basketball as a kid? He's not even taught them to pass to the corner if they drive on the PnR and the man comes to help, they don't even wait to look for the read. We either do the handoff from Sengun that does nothing but let a guard drive 1 in every 4 attempts. Or we do a basic pick and roll with half the options removed, it's either instant pass back to Alpi, chuck from 3 or drive into traffic for the guard. Teams don't even need to watch tape on us, watch 5 possessions and you know everything we're going to do.

 

I blame tilman for not letting udoka bang his employees.

 

What about the fans inside? We let them live?

Kind of silly but Adams would have helped a lot. His screens are an offensive weapon and maybe we wouldn't have gotten punked on the glass in the 2nd half so often.
