Another season of Jabari being invisible and not contributing anything when his shot isn't falling.

 

There is a slight issue in the fact that I'm sure the coaching staff told Green "if defender plays under the screen or takes a step back because they fear the drive, take the three". And it was obvious that Hornet defenders were more afraid of Green blowing by them than his jump shot. Now they don't sag off like they do with someone like Amen by they do give him like one step back in space where Green thinks it's a open shot.

Maybe he shouldn't always take them. Especially if he missed like 2 in a row. After that get something easier towards the rim.

 

Reasonable take. I still like to assign more blame to brooks, Smith and fvv. We have two vets who did nothing for offense (fvv did something 4th quarter) but u figured they would have led us to to not blow a 17 pt lead. Smith was just a$$.

Yeah they should've done that. If the only play we have left to run is one screen and chuck it at least put the ****ing generational 3pt shooter in the game. Can we hire you to run Ime's offense for him, you've beaten it in one post?

 

Feel like we need to change it up and have a coaches only meeting.

Maybe a Power Dancers only meeting?

Hollins only meeting?

I don't know where I'm going with this.

 

Hornets are one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen. No plays. Just **** show and we lost. Udoka had 5 months to prepare for that.

They managed to turn a 30 point blowout loss to Orlando last year into a .500 season, even beating the Magic the 2nd time around, but you can argue starting 0-3 pre-emptively sunk their play in chances from the start.

 

Ugly +/- for Amen. Everyone is sold on him except me.

Amen, Tari, Jabari - too many guys who can't shoot. You give any of their minutes to Jeff Green tonight, we win that game - truth.

 

You’re not wrong. Literally everyone who played tonight shot a 3. They’ve got to figure out another option.

 

but he’s 17 and tall. Just give it time. Year 12 will be diff.

I didn't watch the game. What went wrong and is it correctable?

 

That's just going to turn into a photoshoot.

 

Rockets could go 0-82, and this would still be the worst loss of the season.

 

Yeah it's only one game, it sucks because next 5 games?

Grizzlies, Spurs, Spurs, Mavs, Warriors.

We'd be lucky to win 3 of those games. Split the Spurs, steal one against the Grizzlies or Mavs, and we never beat the Warriors so forget about that.

 

Honestly if Fred had a average game this would be a comfortable win. I don't expect Fred to shoot like this lol. I mean if he does omg we are in trouble.

 

I'm not sold on Amen. The fact that he needs 10 feet of space for him to even contemplate shooting a wide open three pointer is actually embarrassing. Not to mention his horrid FT shooting. I still like him but he'll be a solid piece not anything foundational.

 

Well, Memphis is next….
