I'm sorry. I'm just trying to find something positive. Green needs to not settle for the three just because the defender takes one step back from him.

The turnover by Sengun is very uncharacteristic of him so I'll give him a pass.

Fred man.... You are supposed to be mr consistent.

Amen and Tari should have gotten more playing time then Brooks. They are better defenders at this point.

We used this starter lineup a whole season.

Udoka has to be better.

 

You forgot the repetitive hand off at the top of the 3 we do on 80% of plays that results in near identical actions every single time. We score because we have a couple of guys with talent, not because we have a coach who knows how to force a defense into rotating or chasing us or creating mismatches. Ironically, the exact same problem Silass had on offense. Watch the tape, on defense we're always chasing down the open man, on offense nobody EVER has to chase us.

 

I’d throw ime in there too.

 

Not enough interior defense! The Hornets focused on packing the paint and it took Sengun out of his game.

Fred didn't shoot worth a lick, Jabari was a NO SHOW, Reed Sheppard got too much playing time and Cam looked uninspired.

Jalen played good and played within himself but not efficient

 

Unrelated, Evan Mobley was amazing tonight.

 

Stone did his work, but Ime still not.

 

+1 offensive boards and +8 turnovers and still lose at home to the Charlotte freaking Hornets. That’s a talent issue. Hopefully it’s just 1 night but it feels really familiar.

 

FVV and Jalen have 0 self awareness. They go into these crazy sabotage iso's

They did play better defense with that lineup but Mann at that point was blazing and made everything. One of those plays was a pull back three as if he was some elite guard.

The lineup kept Charlotte at 93 for about 2 mins...problem was the scoreboard didn't move much during that time I think like we scored 2 points lol.

 

Or the coach doesn't have a playbook. A basic pick and roll or a single screen followed by either a basic roll or a chucked 3 from the ballhandler and the hand off from Sengun to a guard. That's our entire playbook. Seriously, show me one other play we run?

 

Man no incentive yet Green for the first time under Ime was kept in on all defensive units at the end of the game because now he's a damn good defender at this point.


He took a bit too many threes. But and Sengun were the reason the Hornets didn't blow out the 4th wide open.

Honestly don't know why we don't spam the two man pnr and dho game with those two by now. That was working in the 4th.

Ehh, just a dumb loss. Team stopped trying after a while and couldn’t back into the flow when they needed to. Overconfidence from a young team. Ime is going to **** on them tonight. Don’t think it’ll be trend honestly.
