I don't know how much - if any - of it is made up. Regardless - the majority of the story concerns comments that Donald Trump has made about veterans, the military and injured veterans.... and John Kelly has confirmed those as true, including the quote he posted. I don't know if Trump in private actually complained about the cost of Guillen's funeral and said they were trying to extort him.... but that part doesn't pertain to most of the story.
Yes but he specifically talks about Hitler. I get your point and am not really disagreeing. Trump is ignorant. We all know of Hitler. Hitler; Putin, and Kim Jong Un are his only frames of reference. He doesn’t know **** about Alexander The Great. His ignorance doesn’t excuse the lack empathy for Hitler’s victims
Considering how much debt Trump added to the economy during a good economy and then Covid, why would any rational person think we wouldn't be experiencing inflation.
To the point in the to other thread, they don't think it'll impact them because they believe as a dictator, Trump will just do price controls, or if he can't do that he'll at least lie to them, and tell them what they want to hear. Keep in mind none of these people are really conservatives. Not one Trumper out there gives a damn about price controls. Not one Trump voter cares about that as long as it's Trump doing it and not an evil Democrat. Again... it's about how they feel. They are voting Trump because they know they will feel a certain way regardless of what the reality actually is.

IMO trump wants the military to report to him, but in this country our military takes an oath to the Constitution. I think his love for dictators is they can tell the Military what to do and I am sure there are some shady stuff going out there..............Like Putin loves to toss enemies out of windows, trump wants to be able to do that to his enemies. I listened to John Kelly`s interview, he`s not out writing books, he doesn't do speeches and didn't really want to talk about this but he thought it was the right thing to do. Every single one? Can't seem to remember John McCain being compared to Hitler...or even Mitt Romney. No one compared Sarah Palin to Hitler...we just all thought (rightfully so) that she was an idiot. Ted Cruz doesn't get compared to Hitler. The best comparison one could make of him is a cowardly rotting bag of mayonaise. Not to mention, this is not the first time John Kelly has said these things for the last couple of years. He might have added on lately but Kelly coming out against trumpybear isn't new.
