It was somehow similar to how people perceived Jordan Poole after he had that good season......not saying Poole is Green's floor or something. If Draymond didn't slap Poole, there is a scenario that Poole stayed with GSW for better or worse. [4 years 128m] [29-33per year] Teams like the Wizards would still have pursued him. Star or non star.......we are talking about the trajectories that those players were on until they ascend or fall to earth......and the money. PS: Bad teams pay mediocre players max or near max money.
Dude, I never one time said he's a great scorer or bucket getter. I only praised his shooting. I don't understand what you're arguing at all. I don't even believe he can be called a bucket getter yet. You're calling him that and acting like I said it lol. It's irrelevant that there are young players with big games that didn't pan out. He didn't have a big game. We're talking about teenagers who shot league average on a serious team at a high frequency. I said it so specifically so many times yet you keep telling me about random first round picks of various ages and skillset that didn't pan out. That has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Cams shooting is rare for his age. You're off on a million tangents and I'm just telling you, you're unfairly downplaying his shooting using comparisons that don't have any relevance to him. You're also downplaying it by saying his game is not well rounded. He's 19. There are no well rounded teenage players except Lebron. You're holding him to a seriously unfair standard. Your expectation should be that he will develop at an average rate for players his age. If you want to demonstrate that it's not rare for a teenage NBA player to hit 36% on a high volume of 3's, that's what I've been discussing this whole time. I don't understand what you're arguing I'm just stating a statistical fact and predicting average improvement. What's there to argue here?
Yeah, if Jalen doesn't turn into a true star this season and enters into RFA, he will be more likely overvalued than undervalued by some team out there. It will be up to the Rockets to decide whether they want to keep him
I believe that Jaime wants to return to the Houston night scene. Doesn't mean the front office wants that
I feel like you should have been here for the over-the-hill Rockets 'superteams' of the late 90's, but I guess the lesson didn't stick. Stay the course, grow the team we have, make some smart trades to keep us in that long window.
Harden has leaked his interest in returning to the Rockets before but the interest was not mutual. Like Harden, Durant is an aging falling star stuck on a team not going anywhere with no possibility of improvement.... so yeah, of course he'd leak interest, but it won't be mutual.
They aren't leading you to a championship so it really doesn't matter if they happen to be better than those guys right now.
