He's saying that believing Trump supporters are racist is racist.

I think this type of medium of a message board online strips basic empathy skills away from people where people like you actually sat done and had dinner with the members of my family I'm referring to and they explained their background situation etc you wouldn't have the ability to tell them they deserve to be deported to their face and not because of fear of violence but the shame you'd feel in saying something like that to a human to their face.

 

I’m not sure where you got that from. I stated a simple fact - trump does well with non college educated white males, particularly in rural areas.
And I asked if that’s racist or classist for me to raise that factual point, which I think is universally undisputed.

Not once (or twice) did I label any group “white trash”. I think the term is, among other things, lazy, imprecise and rude/ugly.

If someone wants to associate that term with the education level of a cohort of white people, that’s on them. I have often that term used to associate with a set of behaviors, or physical appearance, and/or people who live in certain areas, both urban and rural. But it’s rude and far too amorphous to be useful.

It seems like maybe people are sensitive to the fact that non college educated white males are predominantly Trump supporters. It so, that sensitivity is a their issue, not mine.
