Neither have earned these contracts

 

Sengun and Jalen took team friendly deals. We are so lucky to have them as leaders.

 

I guess I'm a little surprised but then again it also looks like Stone's done some wheeling and dealing. Apparently they've seen enough to accept the risk and reward the players. Also surprised by the timing but zero % surprised that both got done within a few minutes of each other.

You know... star players get star calls and star players generally have big contracts. I'm not saying star calls are guaranteed now but I'm just saying. Star calls. Get Greengun to the line 15x a game please.

Not exactly what I predicted, but pretty close. Jalen gets 2 year max with a player option for year 3. Sengun gets max amount for year 1, but no or low annual raises. I think these are good deals on both sides.

Further proof that the two extensions were linked together, and possibly with the two agreeing on same starting salary.

 

My personal story was to emphasize the point that high scoring players do not necessarily translate to a successful team. Your claim was debunked by another poster who posted a news article in his post.
